I have been prescribed Pantium 40 (twice daily for 5 days) along with Phexin to treat some skin infection. I am presently in 14 weeks of pregnancy. My question is that is it safe during pregnancy? Possible side effects if any? ## Pantium 40 will not treat a skin infection, it contains Pantoprazole, this is a proton pump inhibitor used to reduce the amount of acid produced by the stomach.
