I have undergone Angioplasty with Stentlad Coronary Artery. Doctor prescribed Repace 50 mg daily after dinner in addition to Aztor 40 mg (at night), Prasugrel 10 mg (morning) and Echosprin 150 mg. Are all the tablets safe to be used for long term treatment? ## HI! Sorry about the medical problems you've had! What are the symptoms of Coronavirus? ## My husband works at a hospital, he's been a radiographer for almost 25 years, now, they are told to watch for fever, dry cough, fatigue/tiredness, and shortness of breath. If anyone comes into the ER experiencing these symptoms, they have to gear up for protection, and isolate the person, just in case. Any doctors out there know what is the best treatment for this? Already have 6 stents and now I have a gap and a small blood clot by one , also have two more dissections and a kink in one of those. Getting another stent to fix the gap and blood clot. Open heart has been mentioned. ## I'm no doctor, but from what I've read, your treatment for 'spontaneous coronary artery dissection' can include several options based on an in-person evaluation: Apparently your doctor can prescribe medications to help prevent blood clots and reduce the risk of heart attack and other complications that may arise with this condition. Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) is another possible option. In this procedure, also called an angioplasty, doctors insert a thin, flexible tube (cathete...

I have mild CAD (Coronary Artery Disease) and am currently taking the following medications: Ecosprin, Vitamin B12 for deficiencies, Remylin D, Asthma AB Flo 100, as well as an Asthalin + Trimix inhaler. I've been experiencing chest pain, whole-body pain, and have been having trouble with arthritis. Could you please advise whether these medications and supplements could potentially benefit my condition? ## Have they all been prescribed for you? They may help, but it seems like your current medications are addressing separate issues such as CAD, vitamin B12 deficiency, and asthma. However, pain associated with arthritis might be not directly addressed. You might want to consult with your doctor regarding your whole-body pain and arthritis. They may adjust your regimen or add addition...

I have undergone a procedure for an 80% blockage in the left anterior descending (LAD) coronary artery, and I am currently taking Statin 40mg and Clopilet A 75mg daily. I am 51 years old and experiencing irregular menstrual cycles with heavy bleeding. Could these symptoms be side effects of the medication I am taking? ## It is most likely due to the hormonal imbalances that occur with perimenopause, which are the years leading up to actual menopause. Have you consulted your doctor? They can do blood work to check and see if that is the case. But this type of thing does normally occur for awhile, before a woman actually hits menopause, then becomes post-menopausal. At this time, you usually stop ovulating, so you aren't producing as much progesterone as you used to, but you still pro...

Some of the most common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and diarrhea. You can read more about this medication here: Is there anything else I can help you with?
