Hi I'm Armando. I started taking vraylar 4.5 mgs. about 2 and a half months ago. After a few days, I started getting quick strong urges to urinate, sometimes not even making it to the restroom on time. Has anyone had similar problems while taking vraylar, I was prescribed it as a booster to make my other 3 antidepressants work better. I would really appreciate it if anyone that has or has had this problem would get back with me. Thank you in advance. ## Vraylar can cause elevated blood sugar as a side effect, and frequent urination, or urinary incontinence are symptoms of that, which is why it is often warned about as being a symptom to watch for in diabetics. Have you consulted your doctor? Have they done any blood work? Usually, blood sugar levels are tested regularly, while someo...

I've had been given a puba vaginal sling and bladder suspension a month ago. I'm now taking Oxybutynin 15 mg and I still experience leakage. Why? ## Hello, Kelly! I am sorry about the problems you're experiencing. Has there been any change? What was your specific diagnosis? That could help explain why you are still experiencing an issue. Additionally, no procedure, or medication, even if FDA approved, is guaranteed to work for 100% of those that try it. Are you on any other medications? ## I had a tilted urethra and falling bladder. Had urethra sling and bladder suspension. Now there's no physical reason I should be still leaking. First follow up left me with an oab diagnosis and oxybutynin script.. which doesn't help. I have another follow up next week and hope for ...

I have been taking Lyrica 75 mg 3xs a day for at least 10 years. These past few years I have been waking up with bladder pain and pressure every hour or so. Have been to Urologist, URI/Gynecologist, have had many tests and no one has an answer. I’m beginning to think my Lyrica has been causing it, but I definitely cannot go without Lyrica. It helps my Idiopathic Peripheral Neuropathy tremendously. Any thoughts or suggestions?? ## Keep taking the Lyrica. Editor's note: We do not verify the credentials of our users and messages should not be considered medical advice. ## Lyrica has been known to cause urinary issues as side effects, such as painful urination, burning during urination, urinary retention, urinary frequency, and urinary incontinence. Hi. I'm having a little urinary incontinence trouble and would like to find out how Toviaz (fesoterodine fumarate) works, how good it works, and when are the times after consumption when it works best? Thank you all in advance for your replies. Hang in there guys. Love you all. ## Fesoterodine works as a bladder relaxant, so it stops the spasms that cause you to feel the need to urinate frequently. As to how good it works, or the times it works best, there really is no pat answer that can be given, since it can vary from person to person. Has your doctor prescribed it for you? If so, have you tried it, yet? Its side effects may include dry mouth, dizziness, constipation, cough, and stomach pain.

Hello. I have high blood pressure, and take medication for this. I also have urinary incontinence, and have been taking Oxybutynin for a few months, with good results. My question is, how does Oxybutynin affect blood pressure? Would my doctor prescribe it if it was detrimental to my high blood pressure condition? ## Hello, Cynda! How are you? As listed by the FDA, it has been known to cause high blood pressure in some people that take it, but not everyone experiences all the given side effects of a medication. I have both stress and urge incontinence. Just started taking Gemtesa this morning. I would like to know about any experiences you have had with this drug. ## The FDA lists the typical side effects of Gemtesa as possibly including nausea, dizziness, urinary retention, diarrhea, and dry mouth. Ref: Medline Plus Gemtesa Have you experienced any side effects? Can anyone else that's taken it chime in with their experiences? ## I had urine retention, after taking Gemtesa, which, with a prolapse, is the last thing I need. It didn't help at all with stress incontinence (i.e. sneezing, coughing, etc.) Doesn't seem worth it to me to take Gemtesa if I have retention. ## Oh wow! Sorry to hear that Judy! That would positively suck!!! I understand, though, I've had weird reactions to...
