I've been experiencing very painful burning for weeks. I've been prescribed this medication twice now each for 7 days. The first time was 2 mths ago. I had relief for a few days & then it came right back! I'm on my 4 day out of a 7 day script & still in pain. How long before this medication brings some relief? It doesn't have the milligrams on the bottle. Could this burning be from something else? ## I'm sorry, Katherine, what medication have you been prescribed? You forgot to mention it. The FDA lists the typical side effects of most antibiotics as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.

my dog have urinary infection. urinary smells and is very yellow. urinates a lot more than the water he is consuming. is it okay to give him purbac ## Well, this site is not medical nor veterinary professionals, so we cannot possibly diagnose your dog or suggest a treatment. It does sound like it could be an infection, but not all human medications, including antibiotics, are safe to use in animals. I can only suggest you call your vet to be certain of what it is safe to give him. Have you talked to them, yet?

I would like to know if Zoxan 500 is used to treat blood infection. If so, for what level of infgection it is used. Mild, average or serious? ## Ciprofloxacin is reported to be the active ingredient in Zoxan. Ciprofloxacin is used to treat a number of infections including: infections of bones and joints, endocarditis, gastroenteritis, malignant otitis externa, respiratory tract infections, cellulitis, urinary tract infections, prostatitis, anthrax, chancroid, among others. The term "among others" is very vague, so I think it best to contact your doctor to confirm its use for blood infection. I personally couldn't find any info relating it to that treatment, but your local doctor or pharmacy should be able to clarify that for you.
