My grandma got dark purple capsules and her nurse say their compound capsules hydrocodone 60 mg is there a such pill as such I'm scared a little bit because there's no markings and their dark purple capsules ## Hello! How are you and your grandma? Actually that does make sense, a compounded medication would not have any markings on it. There is no standard manufactured 60mg dosage available, so it would have to be specially ordered by her doctor and then created for her at a compounding pharmacy. They usually use unmarked capsules, because they are cheaper than those with logos or imprints on them. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anyth...

Can you tell me if this drug is legitimate? it is packaged as V C Don, mfd. in India by a Vax pharmaceuticals. Supposed to be hydrocodone and aceteminophen, 10/625. it is an oblong, tan colored pill and comes in blister packs. ## Hello, Ramette! How are you? As to this medication, I have to say that your guess is as good as anyone else's. When it comes to unmarked tablets ordered from a foreign, non-FDA approved source, the only way to be certain of what you've received would be to pay to have it analyzed. It may be their version of Vicodin, it could be a placebo, or it could be something else entirely. Learn more Vicodin details here. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry ...

my grandmother was prescribed 10 mg hydrocodone in a blister pack by hospice. they are dark blue capsules and have absolutely no marks on them. has anyone ever seen these out there? ## These are most likely specially made for her by a compounding pharmacy, which is why they are unmarked and in the blister packs. Many hospices or large hospitals have one on site or nearby to be able to order specialty mediations for their patients. The manufactured formulations all couple the Hydrocodone with Acetaminophen, so it has to be specially ordered to just get the Hydrocodone by itself. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have a red unmarked capsule. Was told it's a 15mg hydrocodone. They said they had to be special made. Is this true? Is it a 15mg or could it be more? ## Hello, Rose! How are you? It is possible, but short of testing the contents of the capsule there is no way to be sure. A doctor can order a special formulation of any given prescription medication, which would then need to be made by a compounding pharmacy, but in general, they use plain white or clear, unmarked capsules. The FDA classifies Hydrocodone as a narcotic analgesic and lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Is there a compounding pharmacy in your area?

I have hot pink hydrocodone 15/150 thats from a compounding pharmacy without markings ## That is normal, since the pharmacy had to make it for you as a special order. It is cheaper for them to use unmarked capsules, in most cases. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I have a hot pink capsule no imprint on it. I have heard its hydrocodone but im not sure any idea what it could be? ## Is it a long capsule hot pink no imprints i have one and am not sure what it is but it sounds similar to what ur describing?

My dad takes for chronic pain. Found unmarked containers in his meds want to make sure they are hydrocodone 5 MG before he takes. One is white oval tablet with 105 on it other is circular tablet with .DAN on one side and 5658 ## Hello, Deb! How is your dad? The tablet with the 105 marking is manufactured by Mylan Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 7.5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. The tablet with the DAN 5658 on it is now manufactured by Watson Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 10mgs of Cyclobenzaprine. The FDA classifies this medication as a muscle re...

White oblong similar to hydrocodone but thinner - no markings - sent from Chennai India - refilled my Vicodin prescription from a Canadian pharmacy. ## If there are no markings on the tablets, then I am afraid there is no way to positively identify it, unless you would pay to have it lab tested. It may be what you ordered or it may be something entirely different. This is one of the hazards of ordering from foreign sources. ## So, if the oblong, white pill is unmarked, but COULD still be hydrocodone, that must mean that SOME hydrocodone is, in fact, unmarked. Is that right? ## did you ever try the pills? my friend ordered these too from India but it is a light yellow oblong scored pill with no markings on it...the foil blister pack says it is 10/325 hydrocodone. ## I have the same pills...

I have a bright pink pill w orange\yellow powder. It is supposed to be a very strong norco but I'm not 100% Sure what it is?? Any advice? Or help ## Are there any markings on it? If not, then that means it's going to be difficult to determine exactly what the capsule contains. Norco contains Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone, it's not available in capsules on the manufactured pharmaceutical market, it's only available as tablets. Learn more Norco details here. If it contains these ingredients and is in an unmarked capsule, it would have to be a dosing that was specially ordered by a doctor and done by a compounding pharmacy….however, the color of the powder makes me doubt that, because it's usually a white or off-white substance. That is why the tablets are white, ...

I have found some pills that look size shape and color of my hydrocodone that were lost but they are in unmarked bottle and have 200 on one side what are these ## Hello, Wondering! How are you? The tablets that match this description are listed as being Rezulin 200mg, it was anti-hyperglycemic agent that has since been removed from the U.S. market. Many of these medications were found to cause dangerous side effects and complications. The only other close match listed is more of an oval/egg shaped tablet that is caused Stendra, it's used to treat ED. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, priapism and headache. Is the tablet more oval, or shaped exactly like the Hydrocodone?

the bottle says hydrocodone bitartrate cyclobenzaprine hcl on it. 5/ 5mg. What is this? ## White capsule no markings...ibuprofen??? ## As to the original poster, since that is not a standard medication that's available in the U.S., there is a chance it was special ordered by someone's doctor and created for them by a compounding pharmacy. They frequently use unmarked capsules. The FDA warns that, if those are the ingredients it contains, it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth. Gary, most Ibuprofen comes in tablet form. Do you know anything else about it, such as its origins? ## Hello, I had a group of family members stay with me for a week and I found a white capsule without any markings in the ro...
