Under Arm Axiron

When I was using Axiron, I developed 2 skin tags in my arm pits. I want to have a normal Testosterone level but not with these gross tags growing under my arms. Has anyone else had these problems? ## Hello, Bill! How are you? it might be due to the testosterone, hormones can sometimes do that, but it could also just be normal for you, some people are prone to developing them. Skin tags are really harmless, they can just be annoying and unsightly. Has your doctor confirmed that's what they are? You should make sure to have them checked out to be certain. If they are, they can be removed quite easily right in your doctor's office.

To all of you using Axiron, pleqae be careful! My husband used it for two years, 60 mg a day. He is in his early 40's and suffered a stroke a few months ago. If you start to feel a pain or numbness in one of your arms or hand, pleaae stop. His T level was a little under 300. Please be careful taking this! ## Hello, CC! How are you? How is your husband doing? I am so sorry about what happened. Yes, these testosterone supplements have been tied to an increased risk of stroke and cardiac events. Thank you for posting this warning for others.

Hello! I'm soon to be switching from Axiron to Fortesta. Can the Fortesta be applied under the arms/armpits the way Axiron is? Even using the applicator that is used with Axiron? Just curious as it would seem easy to apply that way. Thank you! ## Hello, Guessto! How are you? Actually, the Fortesta instructions say that it should be applied on to the front and inner thigh. They do not specify why it is different from other products, but following their guidelines would be the best thing to do, unless your doctor approves for you to use a different place to apply it. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Hello Verwon, Thank you so much for replying! Yes, I'm aware of where the Fortesta is supposed to be applied (front or inner thigh area). I know technically directions should...

All The Axiron Literature Says To Apply It Only Underarms. Why? Doesn't Other Skin Areas Absorb the liquid? ## Hello, Ron! How are you? The skin there is generally thinner, so more will be absorbed and that is also a safer place to use it in order to prevent its transfer to other people, since it can cause problems for women and children. Is there anything else I can help with? ## So the concern is contact with other people. Not so much that it is unsafe for the user to apply it anywhere. Am I understanding that correctly? ## Started using Axiron July 30th, waiting for arm pits to dry after putting it on blows. Since it's an alcohol based product, and I decided to dry my pits after showering, then applying the T. Much easier this way. It dries completely, then I put my deodorant...

Hello, I am currently on a single application per day. I am not sure if it's best to alternate arm pits or stick to a single armpit. Trying to find the best way to mimic the bodies way of doing it. Eg. As the testicles would/may do it. As well as getting the most out of my therapy. Thanks. ## Hello, Scott! How are you? The product website doesn't specify, it just says to only apply to the underarm, so it seems it doesn't matter, if you alternate or not, unless your doctor has instructed otherwise. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Verwon, thanks for the reply it is much appreciated. FYI I have tried many other forms of TRT. Nebido, Testogel and had side affects...

I had been on Axiron for 4 or 5 years. My levels remained around 640. Go in one month and my level had dropped 300 points? Doc did MRI of pituitary gland and all was ok. was using one pump under both arm. He moved me to two pumps under each arm. Still not helping as far as libido. I have not went back to do blood work. I only go every three months. What do you think happened? ## Hello, John! How are you? From what others have posted, it seems that it only works for awhile for most people, then just suddenly stops. Some have only had a boost for a month, or two, some for years, but sooner or later, everyone said it's eventually stopped working and they had to switch to something else. Have you tried any of the other testosterone supplementation products? The FDA lists the typical sid...

Going with 60mg with T level at 275. Will keep you guys posted ## Hi Scott, Just noticed you posted this on the 2nd of May and was wondering how well Axiron's been working for you since then? I came across a few other discussion threads talking about this medication, but their reviews give me the sense that it's really not that effective at all. Maybe your experience is totally different? Discuss/Weight-Gain-and-No-Energy-AXIRON-237890.htm Discuss/Axiron-Estrogen-blocker-238521.htm Any info at all is greatly appreciated! Thanks! :) ## So after two weeks, I noticed the hard on a little stronger. As far as increased energy and losing weight, nothing to notice or report on. I started with 60mg for the first month, one application under each arm pit. I went back to the Dr. and he ga...
