I've got a grandson that has been hurting around the stomach area and can't eat much. He has little appetite and nausea most of the time. He's had his gallbladder tested and a ct scan couldn't find anything. He throws up a lot. He is only 19, did weights but now lost 30 lbs in a month. He stays stressed out. He has aspergers and just met a girl 18 months ago. She has a stunt growth problem and tells him she can't marry him unless he has a really good job. He can't even drive due to having seizures that he has. Could all this come from stress knowing he can't get a job, no transportation? He doesn't do math. Please, I am having a sharp burning feeling in my chest and back especially when I walk in the sun. I have been diagnosed with an ulcer before and the worst part of it is I feel the pain more when am on my period. So I want to know if it is the ulcer that causes that as well?

What medication can i use for sever pain from a STOMACH ULCER can only get a appointment to see a specialist in 5weeks time my GENERAL PRACTITIONER has prescribed me TRAMACET it contains 37.5mg Tramadol HCI and 325mg Paracetamol and i must take 2 TRAMACET'S 3 times a day is that to much or is there other pain medication i can use the pain is unbelivably painful. Hi. I am suffering from crohn's disease..I got multiple ulcers in my iliem...7 months back my doctor prescribed me pantoacid-it for 15 days and I was well then... Can I continue with the same medicine now or should I take regular pantoacid-40?

I was diagnosed In February this year with a haemorrhaging stomach ulcer. Biopsies showed no H-Pylori and no cancer but some baterial activity. I have no typical ulcer symtoms no pain and no acid reflux. I have been treated with anti-biotics and flagil plus a blood transfusion in February and again in June on account of red blood cell count being below 7. I have also been on Topzole since February and the dose of Topzole has been doubled since June. Since I do not suffer from acid reflux is Topzole the correct drug for me? I am 75 years old and am now worried about breaking bones. I am a bit dizzy, with itchy skin and often have hot flushes. Can hot flushes be side effect of Topzole? Has anyone who has taken Adderall IR for more than five years (or at anytime) experienced a severe skin ulcer? ## No I have taken it off and on since 2005, BUT different generics use different fillers so maybe you have an allergy? ## It is not listed by the FDA as a known side effect of taking Adderall, the typical ones include nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, mood changes, weight loss, and anorexia. Is Gastritis,Ulcer , Acidity - all mean the same ? Gas released out by farting and belching are same ? I am having Gas trouble and recent days acid secretion and in endoscopy found that lower end of esophagus had been eroded. Doctor has suggested me to take Omeprazole and Rabiprazole tablets. But I am unable to get cure. Even 4 hours after taking my food I feel like vomiting (due to gas pushing my food upward) and if I vomit I can see the food item in the same form that I ate. for eg. Good day I am a 45 year old women who is overweight and no matter what I have tried cannot loose the weight.over the past several weeks I have had severe gastritis and acid reflux. I vomit most of the time but only bile. I have had ulcers (bleeding) but am fine now. Can I take Ibuprofen 600mg? I am concerned that it may cause bleeding again... Also, is ibuprofen 600mg a narcotic? ## No, it is not a narcotic. This medication is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, and, yes, it does increase the risk of bleeding, stomach irritation, and ulceration, or worsening existing ulcers, according to FDA reports. I am being given pentasa 500mg.. 6 each day, rejunex.. 1daily, velgaut.. 1daily for ulcerative colitis in my colon. Is it ok? I am not finding desirable relief. What may be the duration of treatment? ## Started with Amebia for over 6 years, which turned in to ULCERATIVE COLITIS IN COLON FOR OVER THREE YEARS, Whereafter lot of mucus started coming out with stool or with passing of gas. how can this be beneficial for mouth ulcers............i had s painful ulcer in my mouth.....how could that help. ## There are several ways it can help, actually. The Deasmethason is a steroid, which will help reduce the pain and inflammation, the Tetracycline is an antibitoc that will help get rid of any bacteria that may be causing the ulcers and prevent them from getting infected. Has your doctor prescribed this for you?

Is it safe for my wife to take Ibuprofen? She had two small stomach ulcers 12 years ago caused by H Pylori bacteria ## @Richard, Based on my research, regular use of aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) can actually raise your risk for stomach ulcers. Although taking NSAIDs once in a while is safe for most people. Is Ibuprofen something your wife uses often? ## She just needs effective painkillers for a short time as she recovers from a hysterectomy. She started on paracetamol + codeine, but suffered problems with constipation from the codeine.
