I have typhoid, Cipro & chlorophenicol failed can clavam 625 cure it. ## Sir, i am prasanna, i have fever with typhod within 15 day from now, typhil o is 1/320 & h is 1/160. Dr. Gave me tab sancef az, for 05 days, per day 02 tab. After use of 05 days i got a result of o is 1/320 & h is 1/320 then again renue above medicine. Then consult another govt. Dr has been given , art plus, pcm , hepokind300, ofloxin400mg, malirid ds. I am 28 years old, i consult 3 dr in puri govt hospital but do not get a good result. whats the use? ## Antibiotics are used to help treat or prevent infections. If there is an infection bacteria causing the diarrhea then it would be used to help rid the body of the infectious bacteria, such as that which caused Typhoid. I was suffering from typhoid and malaria i was put on Artesunate IV one day and rocephin IV for five days, on first day i had diarrhea and dizziness then i was ok for four days then later i developed new symptoms like shoulder pain,neck muscle pain,bloating,belching and my poop is not hard as it used to be before medication. my daughter 2yrs 11 months was diagnosed with TYPHOID and the doctor is prescribing me this ZIFI 100, is this a cure or just treatment for the moment? ## Typhoid fever is treated with antibiotics; Zifi 100 (cefixime) being one of them. I don't know if it is a "cure" per say, as I've read a review from another user stating that he was given Ampicillin and that seemed to clear it up well; but also noted that it came back 15 years later. Now I'm sure other attributes or lifestyle choices contributed to it coming back, but this is just one person's review out of many.
