They say IG and 250 - are they pain meds and if not, what are they really used for? ## Hello, Wilddad! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by InvaGen Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 10mgs of Escitalopram, which is actually an antidepressant, although some of these types of medications do help with some forms of nerve pain. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, mood swings and weight changes. Is there anything else I can help with?

I was in very bad wreck an insurance is not working an need help with pain an provide document ## @Countryblack, Sorry to hear about the wreck you were in. If you need additional assistance covering the cost your prescription for norco, there's always drug discount cards you can use to help offset the price. MedsChat actually offers a good savings card as well that can cut costs by up to 15 - 75% off at most pharmacies across the US. It's not intended to act as a substitute for insurance, but seems like it would certainly be worth a try nonetheless. You can view/print more details about it here: Rx Savings Card One other thing you ought to know is that many drug manufacturers also offer various types of patient assistance programs for those who meet certain income qualifications...

need a list and pictures of all narcotic pills to teach my teenager ## I am afraid that will be virtually impossible, at least on the pictures aspect. The reason for this is that when medications are available for generic production, there is no standardized shape, size, color or imprint. The US FDA only requires they have a unique imprint so the manufacturer, type of drug and dosage can be identified in case of emergency, but they are, quite literally, made by thousands of different companies, so there are thousands of pills on the market that contain narcotics and they all look different and have different markings. It would be simply impossible for you or your teenager to memorize all of them. Even doctors and pharmacists do not have them all memorized. There is a list on the DEA sit...

I lost my ex son-in-law on 1/20 -- he was murdered. A week later my sister dies of brain cancer. I have pyloric spasm which is exasperated by stress. I went to the doctor the day my sister passed away and proceeded to explain the deep loss I felt in my family. To which she replies "these things happen and you just need to deal with it. No compassion, no I'm sorry for your loss. No 'how can I help you deal with the stress'. The last time I went in I filled out a mental form which asked the question how many days a week do you feel like you would be better off dead and I said 7. When I tried to explain that my life is compromised by extreme pain and constant nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea, she told me that she does not put herself in her patient's shoes. Needless to sa...

I recently became very dependent on Norco for my chronic back pain. I'm withdrawing now so I can go see a pain specialist (finally!) I want to make sure u can get on (if per dr request) meds that won't take me down this road again. Withdrawal is hard as hell. However it important to note I have been rx'ed Methocarbamol and Flexeril, which I both cant take bc they don't do anything but knock me out... I'm sure the Dr will answer these for me soon depending in the diagnosis but just wanted some feedback re: other pain meds (no over counter, those are like candy pills for my pain). ## Dependence can happen with anything that you take on a regular basis for a long period of time and some withdrawal effects will occur, if you stop taking it abruptly. I have 2 different types of pills that are supposed to be exactly the same. One is round, white and has a line across the back of it, and on other side it has in big numbers 54 and under that is the number 543. The other pill is flat, smooth, white, plain on one side and on the other side it has the number 4839 with a line under that and a kind of cursive V. I received the latter one a while ago when I had dental work done and it helped me so much. My general practitioner prescribed the first one for major pelvic and lower back pain and they are supposed to be the exact same thing and I assure you they are not. I cannot pinpoint the difference. Is it a different manufacturer or just one little ingredient difference? I must find out the answer to this, because I am in massive pain and sc...

Hi. I'm an Oralcon user and just wanna understand, I've taken five red pills but nothing is happening. I just want to know if I might be pregnant or what? I had period pains when I took the first one. ## Hi Laura, When it comes to any form of hormonal contraceptive, it's important to understand that they can all cause irregular or missed periods as a common side effect. This is just the nature of what happens when your hormones fluctuate. It seems that this side effect concerns many users here on the site, as I see it posted fairly often - but in reality there's nothing to be overly concerned about when "nothing happens". Most labels for these types of medications suggest that if the tablets have been taken as directed, this will almost certainly not mean that th...
