Hi, I started the Tylenol 3 because I feel jittery on Norco 5/325. I've found it is mild, but better to take for pain while I'm at work. Is it okay to take one tab twice a day of Tylenol 3, then in early evening take one 5/325 Norco? The Norco works better for the pain, but don't want to take that at work. ## Yes. Do not take more than 8 of either pill in a 24 hour period due to Tylenol content and put 4-6 hours between your last codeine dose and the norco to be safe. ## What has your doctor advised you to take? That is really the deciding factor. The FDA warns that both of these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. ## My PC doc couldn't figure out why I was feeling...

Is it ok for me to take one hydrocodone/Tylenol 325 and 2 OTC naproxen. ## Yes, as long as you can take Naproxen, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory. ## Hello, Alicia! How are you? You should check with your doctor, before mixing them, actually. It is generally okay to do so, but can be contraindicated in some instances. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have a white round pill with Tylenol on one side and 325 with hospital written underneath. Is this a narcotic? ## No, it is a 325mg Tylenol tablet that is used in hospital and medical settings. It contains only Acetaminophen. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, and headache. Is there anything else I can help with?

Tylenol 325/15 is OTC in just about every country except the US. We are a country that panics over prescription meds but allow the Tobacco industry to addict and slowly and painfully murder over 400,000 Americans per year for multi-billions in profit. Congress, the FDA, the DEA, federal and local police don't mind badgering someone in pain. But ask them to go after Tobacco and they are cowards! I've got no respect for the FDA *****s who set up the new "rules". They can shove'm as far as possible!!! ## So, I have looked up the real statistics. This is what the FDA, DEA, and everyone who doesn't care about other's pain. The average overdoses per year from 1999 unit today is around 14,000 Americans per year. The deaths via drunk driving is still around 16,000 Am...

What is stronger 2 Tylenol 4 pills or Norco 5-325 I got shot 5x's and stabbed 3 I'm in pain like a Mayne they had me on the Tylenol 4 but they switched it to Norco 5-325 and it doesn't seem to help so this is why I'm asking I don't like taking pills but right now I need something for this pain . ## The 2 Tylenol 4 would be stronger than one Norco, although overall, the Hydrocodone is stronger, so this would not apply if you were comparing them one to one. The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Which one has your doctor advised you to take?

I can take Oxycodone 10 mg/325 tylenol and feel fine, but the 5mg/325 make me sooo naseous. Pharmacist said he has no idea. anyone??? ## Do you happen to know if they were manufactured by different companies, since this is a generic for Percocet? Learn more Percocet details here. If you're not sure, you can ask your pharmacist, they should have that information in the computer. They don't have to use the same inactive ingredients, so each manufacturer could be using a different combination of them and it may be one of those that's making you ill.

I'm taking 1 oxycodone 5 mg and 2 tylenol 325 mg. I take this once or two times a day depending pain level. Is the mg in the tylenol too little or too much. Thank you ## Hello, Carol! How are you? Only your doctor can tell you what dosage is right for you, but generally, each dose of Acetaminophen (Tylenol) should be no more than 1,000mgs in any 8 hour period and no more than 3,000mgs per 24 hour period. The FDA limits the current prescription doses to no more than 325mgs per dose. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

Switched pain doctors and went from Tylenol-4 four times a day to Norco 5/325 four times a day. Will the level of pain relief be the same, less or more? ## It really depends on how it works for you. Have you tried it, yet? According to NIH conversion tablets, you'd need 9mgs of Hydrocodone (Norco) to be equal to each Tylenol 4 you were taking. The FDA warns that this medications carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. ## FDA wants to prescribe the more expensive ones. Oxytocin is still legal, yet, those haven't been taken from the shelves, and that is what kids mostly, were addicted to. It's awful that we have to suffer, for what kids done. Stealing from their grandparents cabinets,...

how many tylenol 4 are equal to a 10MG 325 hydrocodone? ## You'd need about 66.67mgs of Codeine to be equivalent to each 10mgs of Hydrocodone, so that would be about a tablet and a half, give or take. However, due to the Acetaminophen that is also in Tylenol 4, you should not take more, unless your doctor has specifically instructed you to do so. Taking too much of it in any 24 hour period may cause overdose toxicity, which can be fatal. The FDA classifies these medications as narcotic analgesics, so they carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Yes, why is Tylenol 4 a schedule 3 & Hydrocodone 10/200 a schedule 2? Please explain the logic as I'...

Thanks ## i found a pill with ep1 101 on it. can yout ell me what it is ## 44 148 contains 500mgs of Acetaminophe, a generic or store brand of Tylenol. ## EPI 101 contains 100mgs of Dichloralphenazone, 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 65mgs of Isometheptene, a generic for Migratine. This is used to prevent and treat migraine headaches. ## I have a red pill with 44/291 written on one side. I'm thinking it's generic tylenol, am I right?

I would like to know if norco 10 325 and tylenol 4 the same as far as pain relief ## They are roughly equivalent. Tylenol 4 is listed by the FDA as containing 60mgs of Codeine and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. To be equivalent to the Norco, you'd need 66.67mgs of Codeine. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. While the Tylenol 3 has 30mg of codeine and the other has 10 mg of condone wouldn't the Tylenol 3 be stronger ## I have been taking Tylenol 3 for eight years, going 2 to 3 times a day to washroom, eat loads of fruit and fibre. I have to take T3 at least once a day a sometimes not at all Depending on my bowel movements. I only go into severe pain after the movement ...not before...then I desperately need to have the codiene which stops the severity of this pain.I only wish I could take the codine for it anf not the amephetameline with it (excuse spelling) ## Hello, Scott! How are you? There is no medication called Condone, did you mean 10mgs of Hydrocodone with 325mgs of Acetaminophen? If so, then no, it only takes 4.5mgs of Hydrocodone to equal the 30mgs of Codeine in the Tylenol 3....

How many tylenol 3s equal a 10/325mg norco? ## Hello, Yoyo! How are you? Codeine is actually a very weak opiate, so it would take 66.67mgs of it to equal each 10mg Hydrocodone. But, you can't double up, without your doctor's permission, due to the Acetaminophen in them. Taking too much of it in any 24 hour period could result in fatal toxicity, liver damage or liver failure. The FDA lists this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Why would a doctor switch a person that's been on Hydrocodone-Apap 7.5/325mg to Tylenol 3?

How many tylenol 4 would equal 1 5/325 percocet please and ty I was told 2 tylenol 4 would equal 1and1/2 3/325 percocet ## Hello, Richord! How are you? Each 30mgs of Codeine in Tylenol 3 is equivalent to 3mgs of Oxycodone in Percocet, so no, that information was not correct. The U.S. FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Did this manufacturer raise the price of this medicine in the last 4 weeks? I am not insured. I have been on this med long term. For the last 2 yrs I paid 96.?? for 180 pills, about 3 mos. ago the price went down to 81.?? I just went to get them today and the price was 223.24 for 180 pills the same amount I have always gotten. The store said it was the manufacturer raising the price. I can't afford more than 200.00 I could barely pay the Dr. and 80.00 for my script. How do I find out if the manufacturer actually raised the price or if the store is feeding me a line of crap? Any help would be great! Thank you! ## hi I'm not sure exactly if they raised the price or not. I won't be surprised if they did since they have newly established FDA narcotic regulations. I am uninsured ...

if i ad 1000 mgs of tylenol to my 15mg oxycodone will i get longer pain relief??more hours? ## If your doctor approves, it is only necessary to add a regular dose of Tylenol/Acetaminophen of 325mgs. It can help augment the action of Opiates for some people. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## You also need to remember tylenol can be toxic to the liver and you should be closely monitoring tylenol daily intake. My pain dr says it's more like 2000 for chronic patients on these med's for years and still could ...

How much Tylenol do you take with a Watson 932 10 mg ## Hello, Lisamarie! How are you? You should not take any additional Tylenol with this medication, unless your doctor has instructed you to do so. This tablet contains 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I've taken 2000 mg of Tylenol for back pain. Can I take a Lortab 7.5? I'm waiting on my Chiropractor to come back... ## Wow! No, it is not safe to add more Acetaminophen to the mix within 8 hours of taking it, according to the FDA. Actually, you should not exceed 1,000mgs in any 8 hour period, and no more than 3,000mgs in any 24 hour period. Taking more than that could result in liver damage, liver failure and Acetaminophen toxicity, which could be fatal. It would be best to wait and make sure you doctor knows how much you've been taking. Did you experience any adverse effects? ## I take Lortab 5/325 every 8 hours. Is it safe to take Tylenol (500mg) in between doses?
