i found a pill tylenol looks like regular or genaric but some one told me it was a hospital tylenole 3 does a tylenol 3 have no marking? and its long like a tablet ## Hello, Amy! How are you? No, even the ones dispense in hospitals have markings on them. Tylenol 3 contains Acetaminophen and Codeine, it is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. It is available only by prescription and all manufactured prescription medications in the U.S. are require to have markings to enable their identification, in case of emergency, even in a hospital setting. That said, that means it is an over the counter product and from the description, I agree with you on what it most likely c...

Prescription filled by various companies. Last was Teva , excellent results, can cut in half, works. Now Aurobindo, can take whole tab, something I have never done, it does nothing. No pain relief at all. Grateful still have some Teva to cut up. Looks like hip replacement needs replacing. Understand high failure. ## What are the markings on the tablet you are having a problem with? Sometimes the manufacturer listed on the bottle is just a licensed distributor, not the company that actually made the medication. Can you please post back and clarify? The FDA lists this medication as containing Acetaminophen, and Codeine. They warn that it carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.

Here's some definitive info from Actavis who bought out Watson. fioricet.com Briefly: New formulation is out because of FDA requirements (reduces Tylenol from 325 to 300). No change to Butalbital or caffeine mg's Tablets are discontinued. Only capsules are available. The formulation without Codeine is NOT a schedule III drug (Actavis received an FDA exemption) If your doc writes for tabs you may want to discuss having him alter the scrip so that it doesn't get bounced. The good news is that it looks like the Brand Name will still be available. I had GREAT luck with West Ward for over 30 years. The white tabs by Qualitest suck so I'm going to pay the extra and go for the Brand to see how well it works. Good luck everyone. ## Has anyone ever heard of the mfg, of butalbital...

What is this pill? For the life of me I can't seem to find out what it is anywhere! It's about the size of an extra strength Tylenol (give or take), white and round with a capital M over M on one side and a what looks like a v shape on the other. The capital M's are separated by a score and the v on the other side is impressed into the pill (as opposed to written in ink) ## I can't find a listing for this in any of our presription drug resources, either. Do you know anything else about it? Was it found in the U.S.? Does the V look like an actual V or is it more like a checkmark? ## I know! I couldn't find anything, either. I'd post a pic if i could. The mark on the back of the pill is a v shape for sure...it's a fat v, not a skinny v (if that helps at all) an...

white tablet one side saysL413 nothing on opposite looks like a lortab maybe ## I am sorry, I cannot find a listing for this in any of our resources. What I can tell you, however, is that pills marked with an L followed by three additional numbers are over the counter products. This company makes many store brands and generics of common items such as Tylenol, Aleve and Advil. There is just no comprehensive database of OTC items and their markings. Does anyone else recognize this? ## I am pretty sure that Leiner Health Products in the manufacturer. I just sent them an email to see if they can confirm that this is one of their products. Verwon is right that OTC (over-the-counter) products tend not to have a comprehensive database because they are not regulated as strictly as the prescript...

small orange pill might be peach but looks orange. no numbers just a line on one side round tiny lke a mucle relaxer but might just be an advil or tylenol idk. ## If there are no markings, it is going to be difficult to say with any certainty, there are several possibilities, but many orange over the counter pills are generics, or store brands of Advil, but it could also be a supplement of some type, or something entirely different. Advil Details The best suggestion I can make is to just properly dispose of it, since you don't know what it was with any certainty. Does anyone else have any ideas?

its white maybe a hint of yellow its tablet form can be cut in half and has a V or check mark on one sign almost like square root sign but nothing on the other....I was told it was 1mg xanax or alprazolam...anyone know? ## If there are no additional numbers to the imprint, then no, it is not a prescription medication of any type. The ones with just the V logo and nothing else are actually over the counter products. There is one that looks like this that contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen, it is a generic or store brand of Tylenol. Learn more Acetaminophen details here. I am not sure if that's what this one is, because the company does make several different over the counter products. It's just the one that I am personally familiar with. Where was it found? ## Actually that symbol ...

Can you tell me what the pill looks like? ## Hi Kim, From what I could gather, most of the 5/325mg Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone Bitartrate tablets are white and capsule (oblong) shaped. Some of the imprints on these pills are: IP 109, M365, 3202 WATSON, and 3604 V. There may be more though. Did you have any specific questions or concerns regarding this medication? Please post back if you do. ## Are the V3604. The same as M365? ## my daughter has von wilebrand disease, can she take this for pain? tylenol does nothing for her ## Do Watson make hydrocodone acetaminophen (norco) 5-325 only or do they have another company that make the pill to

I would like the identity of a light blue oblong pill approximately 3/4 long. The writing on top: Trc365 ## I was unable to locate your pill. Does anyone else have a clue? ## So, I thought about your question for 5 seconds and realized that it is extremely likely that you have a blue pill that had said TYc365 but the left hand arm of the Y has been removed so that it now looks like an R. ## I think Mattew is on to something - Could you please check and see if there is any way the imprint could actually be Tyc365? That's the only possible match which I can find at this time, and it is also a light blue pill. If so then what you have contains Acetaminophen 500mg and Diphenhydramine HCI 25mg, which is a combination pain reliever and sleep aid like Tylenol PM.

Tell me what kind of pill that looks like a football blue in color with l346 on it ## I can't say for sure, but this is most likely an over the counter sleeping aide. There doesn't seem to be a definitive ID for this pill online, but usually, when the imprint starts with an L, in the way you described it, then it is an over the counter type of Acetaminophen or Tylenol with Diphenhydramine. Hopefully someone else on here who has it in their possession can post something more affirming. ## Blue pill shape like a football with line across it says 44386 what is it ## Blue pill shape like a football with line across it says 44386 ## Have found pill blue football shaped with nothing on one side and L368 on other side. Taking 2 extra strength Tylenol 3 times a day and 1 hydrocodon acetaminophen a day. Become extremely dry mouth at night so I keep water by my bed side. Also skin looks like I have a sun tan and now my muscle in right arm hurts a little. Also woke up with swelling around my knee particularly on the back left hand side ## Dry mouth can be a normal side effect of all narcotic opiates, according to FDA reports. Other side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, and constipation. As to the other issues you are experiencing, it is hard to way what has caused them. But the skin color change is a concern, since that could be a symptom of jaundice, which might be due to liver damage from the Acetaminophen in these medications. Have they both been prescribed for you? Has there b...

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, and headache. Is there anything else I can help with? ## You are wrong this was out before the manufacturer changed and was bought out thus changing the pill to acetaminophen only, witch btw the pill in reference is blank on one side.

This is a 500mg Tylenol pill. People are scratching the rest of an M to make it appear as Hyrocodone. Looks Like M 484. Just Be Aware ## @PDR 500, Thanks for the heads up. However, any legitimate patient shouldn't have to worry about this at all. Anyone can avoid such discrepancies by simply obtaining their Rx medication from a licensed pharmacy and not trying to "beat around the bush", if you will. Counterfeits are becoming much more prevalent throughout the world, as money hungry crooks try to cash in on needy pain patients. The best way to protect yourself is to remain legitimate and follow the rules, despite how restrictive they may be.
