We are now having great difficulty finding a pain management practice that will prescribe meds for his disabling pain issues. My family member has never abused drugs or substances of any kind and has tried every alternative to medication offered him. My father is 84 years old and he is a very “tough man” that has an extremely high tolerance to pain. Over the years he’s had different medical conditions that would require pain medication is like Norco or Percocet whatever and he was given them but he rarely took them and now he has been given restless leg syndrome diagnosis and he is in excruciating pain. I have had joint pain for 1 month. I have used (PCM sos 500mg - 23 tabs) recommended by my doctor. Then I applied an ice pack over the area but I couldn't get any relief from it. I am also looking for a pain management doctor in NJ that will write for narcotics. I just moved back here after my husband left the military. I have my medical records and I had an amazing pain doc where I was living before. Hello. I have PLMD, which is movement of the limbs all during the night and not going into a deep sleep. Results is that I am always fatigued and never feel rested. I researched drugs for this and this is why I started the 300 mg Gabapentin 2 nights ago. Anyone else on Gabapentin for this and, if so, have you noticed improvement? Night before least I slept okay but woke with horrid anxiety and just felt wiped out. I took it l last night and woke up too early, not feeling rested and took a clonopin.
