routinely take 20 mg Lisonipril twice daily for B.P. probs. Today feeling very washed out and weak. Could this symptom be problem of the med? I've been on this med and this dosage for a long time. I probably shouldd have taken my BP , but failed to. Any thoughts? ## works good ## How long have you been taking it? There are two possibilities, the first is that it could be a side effect of the Lisinopril, since it can cause such things and the second could be the your blood pressure may be going too low from taking it. You may want to make sure you are checking your blood pressure on a regular basis and you should also contact your doctor.

I've been taking this for a severe foot injury now after my second surgery I want to stop altogether! Before I started taking ms contin my pain doctor had me on percocet 10/325 6 tablets daily. I'm in much less pain and I'm tired of the side effects! How do pain management doctors wean people off of this? ## They decrease the daily dosage. Talk to your dr and tell him that you pain is less and that you want to taper off of the MS Contin. Tell him that there are times that you still need pain meds, but not 27/7.

Been taking metoprolol 25mg tartrate twice daily and by the time I go to bed and fall asleep by bloodpressure spikes during the night. Don't know if the meds have worn off during the night or if I should be taking another pill before bed. Tried to get a hold of my doctor but he is out on vacation. Does any one else have this same problem. I can tell my bp was high cause when I wake in the morning my eyes are blood shot. ## High blood pressure only rarely causes blood shot eyes, it is especially doubtful if it only happens when you are sleeping and goes away. There are a ton of other causes, however, including disrupted sleep. You shouldn't change this medication, without consulting with your doctor, because too much of it can cause unsafe drops in your blood pressure. Have you c...

Hi all, I just made the switch from Methadone to Suboxone! YES! I went through hell to get here but I did it. Anyway, I'm on day 3 of suboxone and I'm at 16mg. My question is should I take two 8mg strips in the morning or one in the morning and one in the afternoon? Any input would help. Btw, this is the ONLY forum I've found that is updated! ## It is generally given in a single daily dose, though splitting it up may work better for you and can be done, if your doctor approves. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have been taking the Gabapentin for three months now and initially I saw a great improvement, but not as much anymore. I have noticed if I do not have anything in my stomach when I take them that I feel even worse - dizzy, nauseous, and confused - basically drunk without any of the good feelings of being drunk LOL. But I have also noticed this feeling mildly even when I do have food in my stomach when taking them. This makes driving at all for more than a very short distance unnerving. I am not sure if anything can be done about this or if perhaps I should try a different medication? I am also curious if I can exercise while taking this medication. Is light weight training and cardio okay? My concern is the loss of balance issue at times that I cannot predict at all. I can just see my...

on eliquis 2.5mg twice daily Feet swell. Pamphlet reads possible side effect. I keep feet highly elevated when sitting. Want to avoid taking diuretic. No high blood pressure, not over weight. In the past my feet would swell when siting at the p.c. for a lengthy period of time before I was on any meds. My next dr. appt. coming up in 2 weeks. Appreciate any feedback ## Hello, Jackie! What could this be prescribed for? ## Hello, Ann! How are you? The FDA classifies Valacyclovir as an antiviral medication that is used to help prevent recurrences of the herpes virus, this one is usually only used for the genital outbreaks. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and stomach pain. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Why is Aurobindo added to the prescription Valacyclovir? What is it and is it safe to use? ## Aurobindo is simply the name of the drug manufacturer who made your Valacyclovir. It is not a substance and shouldn't be relevant in that regard. Were you used to taking a different manufacturer's product beforehand? I hope this helps!

can i use olfen 100 mepha twice daily ? ## Have you checked with your doctor? Olfen contains the active ingredient Diclofenac, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that is used to treat pain, fever and swelling. Upping your dosage can increase the risk of certain side effects, which may include liver and stomach damage, so you shouldn't do so, unless your doctor instructs you otherwise.

Is it safe to take 2 pills in the morning rather than 1 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon? I tend to forget the afternoon dosage. What are the dangers of taking two pills at once? ## Hello, Cindy! How are you? To properly eradicate infectious bacteria, an antibiotic needs to be maintained at a fairly steady rate in your body for the duration of the time you're taking it, so yes, you do need to take it twice a day, approximately 12 hours apart. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Do you have a smartphone? If so, most of them have free reminder apps that you can install and set it to nag you to take them.

I was prescribed amoxicillan for strep throat. They told me to take one pill twice daily. The dosage amount is 875mg. How many hours apart do I take one pill twice daily? ## Hello, Libre! How are you? According to the FDA, roughly every 12 hours, though it doesn't have to be exactly precise. For instance, if you take one at 8pm and then don't wake up until 8:30am or 9am, things will still be fine to take the next dose. I have been taking these prescriptions for fourteen years four the bad discs in my lower back. I have gotten to the place that I have decided to not take them anymore becuase of the side affects.. Sleep disorders, a feeling of being hazy all the time and just not emitionally their for my family anymore and my energy level is always down while taking these medications. The NIH does report that Monotrate and Ranozex have both been known to cause ED and impotence as side effects. Other common side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, and headache. The best thing to do would be to consult your doctor, you may need a dosage adjustment, or to try a medication to help remedy the situation. Are these the only medications you are taking?
