Tulsa Pain Management

Hi all. I need a Pain Management Doctor or a good Doctor willing to prescribe pain medication. My husband and I are both in disabling pain and can't find a Doctor that gives a care about the pain we're in. I don't want to Doctor shop or call around, they'll tell you no anyway. So if someone out there can help I would greatly appreciate it. ## I am in your exact same boat, but you do not say where you live. I'm moving to Tulsa, OK and need to find a pain management doc that will not do injections, but does give meds. I have been told not to have them done by my anesthesiologist and pain management doc due to where my problem is, past surgeries..neck.. I've been on hydrocodone 4 x day, soma 4 x day, klonopin 3 x day, and lidoderm patches since 1999. Where is the list of Pain Management Clinics for OK that the state i live in now has??? Or does anyone know of pain clinics in Tulsa/Broken Arrow/Claremore/Muskogee area? ## My husband goes to Dr. Morris, I believe his practice is called Premier Pain Management. I have osteoarthritis all over and cannot take anti-inflammatories. I have been in pain management for years but the doctor recently changed and the new one wants to do stuff like burn the nerves off my spine and run a wire up my spine and into my neck for a permanent tens unit. I do not want to do these procedures! I do not (and never have) abused drugs and always take them as directed. I need a pain doctor that will prescribe a long acting (extended release) like Opana or Oxycontin AND Norco or Percoset 10/325 for break thru pain. AND one that will not try to do dangerous procedures on me!

Does Anyone Know how to get Methadone prescribed to me, other than going to a methadone clinic. I have been going for several months now for both pain management and Addiction issues. Near Tulsa OK. My doctors office that was giving me oxycocodone 30mg just closed his office. I live in the Tulsa, Ok area. I am having a hard time finding a doctor that will prescribe them for me. I have degenerative disc disease the Dr.'s I have seen have wrote me perscriptions for oxycotine and even one for opana. But my insurance will not cover them because they are long acting. Need a doctor who will treat me for injuries from a car accident that prescribed pain meds. ## I don't need pain management today but have been in a few rear ends several years ago but mid back pain is unbearable please sooner care doctor to write pain meds asap ## Tulsa has several pain clinics. They will want your records from the last doctor who wrote your prescriptions before you are accepted as a patient. It will have to be in a bigger city. The doctors have been quitting writing narcotics due to new CDC Guidelines so you have to go to a Pain Management Clinic. ## Where can I find a doctor to prescribe pain medication in Oklahoma City or Moore, OK? Since laws have changed I am having trouble finding treatment.

I'm looking for pain doc that will give me what my old doc did which was 30mg oxycodone (5 daily), 2mg xanax (4 daily), 10/325mg norco (6 daily). Additionally, due to the new regulations that were put in place this year, you'll most likely need to see 2 different specialists for such medications, one for the pain and the other for the issue requiring Xanax.
