What is the current total number of brand name drugs and generic drugs on the FDA's approved list? ## I'm sorry, but I do not have any information on what the total number is, due to the fact that it is actually very dynamic. It can change, at any given time, as new medications are approved, old ones are discontinued and new generics become available. I take norco for my back. only respond to the brand name.
