My brother was also suffered from severe headache. Doctor suggested him tryptomer. But now he is suffering from the side effects of it. His whole body became numb, drowsiness, appetite problem. We did consult our doctors. They stopped tryptomer and gave him some medicines also. But its been three days, and no improve is happening. I do not think i have side effects but i want to know about it that .iam havung pain from three months in pain mostly right side in heah it feels like weight in head in front of back or middle,side any where but in right side.please is there any one to help me out of this .and this medicine work good it give me some relife .

I am 45 year old lady taking Tryptomer SR 50mg for the past year. However, if I stop taking the tablet I cannot seem to get any sleep and then a headache tends to develop. does long use of tryptomar cause inflammation of pancreas ## Common side effects while taking Tryptomer (Amitriptyline) are dry mouth, constipation, urinary retention, blurred vision, rapid heart beat, ringing in the ears, drowsiness, nervousness, trouble sleeping, tremors, dizziness, sweating, weakness, fatigue, weight change, and allergic skin reactions. My mom started Tryptomer 10 last Thursday. Took full tablet every night for 3 days. Felt nausea and drowsiness. Doc said to reduce it to half immediately (4th day). Half tablet also not suiting as she is feeling drowsy 24 hours. Can I stop it completely with immediate effect? Hardly been 7 days since shes taking it? ## Have you consulted her doctor about stopping it? I am suffering from headaches and blurred vision even after completion of linezolid ip 600mg antibiotic tablets that I had taken for 1 month alongside linezolid 300mL shots for 2 weeks after a spinal surgery / epidural due to an abscess & psoas abscess. My course of treatment was completed 3-weeks back but I am still experiencing side effects. How long will it take to recover from these side effects? After 10-days of completion of linezolid ip 600mg tablets, I have been advised to take tryptomer 10mg tablets for 15 days; which caused my side effects to increase. Can anyone please offer some advice?

i am on prodap,tryptomer and restyl for the past 12 yrs. i hav got rashes on my legs and feet for the past 4 yrs. no medicine is of any help for the rashes. can it be due to antidepressants?wat shd i do? ## Since you have been on them 7 yrs longer then you have actually been experiencing the rashes, it is unlikely that you are allergic to the meds. But something is going on in your system. I would recommend telling your doc about your symptoms and also recommend having some allergy test done. It could very well be environmental or changes to your body, (like pregnancies as an example) or possibly you have developed a food allergies. Best of luck to you finding the cause of your rash.
