If your period is late, it might just be due to a slight difference in the amount of hormones in the Trigestrel. Hormonal contraceptives may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, irregular menstrual cycles, acne, and weight changes.

Hi, i've been using triphasil for 3 months. I took them every morning at half past ten. I'll notice many side effects. I lost weight everyday. When I went back the Dr gave me pills I'm not familiar with (trigesterel). I changed from 10:30 am to 8:30 pm. I haven't noticed any side effects but just that I eat a lot ever since I've been on the pill...will I gain more weight or will I remain a size 28? Hi, i've been on the triphasil pill for more than a year now. I'm currently finished with my white pill as of yesterday and started with the cream this morning but for the past 3 to 4 days I had bleeding; not bad like a pinkish color, but like spottings and then it's gone, then all of the sudden it's back. I have been using Purbac for just over a year to treat adult acne. I am currently using a Mirena contraceptive. Hi I have been using trigestrel for about 2 years now. But now I drank the last red pill on the packet but haven't seen my periods. I drink them everyday I never skip them and if I did I make sure that I take 2 of them the following day. Hi, I have been on contraceptives for the last 5 years. I started of with the 3 month injection. That caused me to bleed non stop for about 2 months. I went back to the clinic and they changed the injection to the 2 month injection. That did not help either as i continued to have my period for another month. They then put me on the pill called Ovral to stop the bleeding. It did help to stop the bleeding. I then saw my doctor and he gave me triphasil which i have been using for the last 4 years without any problems. Can you use cymgen with Triphasil? Does it make the Triphasil less effective? ## Cymgen contains the active ingredient Duloxetine, it is an SNRI antidepressant and no, these are not known to cause problems with the effect of oral contraceptives. Is there anything else I can help with?

I'm currently using Triphasil and because of an infection I have, my doctor gave me doxytet and profloxin. Will the Triphasil still do it's job regardless of the other meds I'll be taking? Don't plan on having sex for a week but when I start having it, will I still be protected from pregnancy?
