I was given this by my dermatologist for poison ivy. So far it is not working. OTC anti-itch is helping. ## How long have you been using it? It is a steroid based cream, so it won't work instantly like some of the other topical ointments do. It will require a few days to start having an effect. Learn more Triamcinolone details here. However, many times, poison ivy will just clear up on its own, as long as you are careful not to scratch and dig at, so it spreads.

How are you? Flea bites would not cause all over itching and breaking out. They would be small areas localized to just where you were bitten. Have you consulted your doctor? It sounds like this may be something else, possibly bed bugs, which must be treated differently. Can I use mupirocin and triamcinolone to effectively treat a bacterial skin infection ? ## What type of bacterial skin infection? Has it been confirmed by your doctor? Topical ointments are really only going to help with a topical infection, that would be one that's just on the very first layer of skin. Anything deeper than that is going to require a systemic antibiotic to eradicate, which means either taking it orally or by IV.

triamicinolone acetonide ## Was perscribed for nose bleeding. ## can i use kenacomb ointment to heal the wound inside my nose for 3 weeks now. thanks ## Hello, Triamcinolone acetonide ointment is used to treat a variety of skin conditions (e.g., eczema, dermatitis, allergies, rash). Triamcinolone reduces the swelling, itching, and redness that can occur in these types of conditions. This medication is a medium- to strong-potency corticosteroid. I have also heard of this being used in the nose for dryness and irritation. To use this medication: Apply a thin film of the medication to the affected area and gently rub in, usually 2 to 4 times daily or as directed by your doctor. Do not cover, bandage or wrap the area unless directed to do so by your doctor. Use this medication only on the s...

can you apply triamcinolone acetonide ointment to the red and irritated spots from the use of the gel. ## Hello, Harry! How are you? I wouldn't suggest doing so, unless your doctor has told you to. It may cause more irritation, since it contains a steroid, which is the Triamcinolone. Sometimes, it can make certain skin conditions or irritation worse. what is triam/aqua/mo used for ## With the description provided, I was only able to identify two of the three abbreviations listed as Triamcinolone + Aquaphor. I'm not quite sure what "mo" might stand for. Triamcinolone is used to treat the itching, redness, dryness, crusting, scaling, inflammation, and discomfort of various skin conditions. Aquaphor is a brand that has a similar use as well, in that it is an over-the-counter (OTC) ointment used as a protective barrier to seal in skin's natural moisture and seal out irritants. Although it is approved for various uses, it is commonly used to treat and prevent diaper rash. You can find the Aquaphor brand on amazon or at your local drug store. Is triam/aqua/mo something you were prescribed by your doctor? ## Yes. It was use...

I am allergic to the ingredient in hair dye called Paraphenylenediamine and Disburse blue 106. Found this out from the TRUE Test. My history - 2010 broke out with blisters all over my body (except face) head to toe. Put on Clonazepam (for anxiety) (for 7 years) Prednisone and Triamcinolone Acetonide ointment for 3 years which helped with the intense itch. Left scaring and finally went away in 2014/2015. I am now taking Omeprazole 40MG for heartburn, Trazodone, for insomnia. I weaned myself off of the Clonazepam about three months ago. A little confusing, so the only thing I am on now is Omeprazole, and Trazodone. Before I got a prescription for Trazodone I had to go to the emergency room because I had not slept for 4 days. I explained I was off Clonazepam and I was 54 and beginning to h...
