FIXED DOSE COMBINATION More than one-third of the entire new drug introduced worldwide during the last decade was FDC preparations. The trend varied from country to country. In Japan, only 10 percent of the new products were FDC, whereas, in European countries like Spain, it was upto 56 percent. The World Health Organisation (WHO) lists nearly 325 essential drugs, including only 19 of such drug combinations. Pharmaceutical industries have been plagued with cut throat competition because every company is having similar types of product range, with similar doctors list and almost similar promotional strategies. Pharmaceutical companies have little choice but to adopt line extension life cycle management strategies introducing a number of new fixed dose combinations Addition of new FDC in ...

Taking for high BP. First night VERY bad headache at 5am. Next 3 nights took half doze, now waking up with medium pain lingering headache in morning. Been taking for 5 days but headaches are showing no signs of improvement. Has anyone had a similar trend in experience and can I expect it to get better?? Am also very thirsty! ## Hello, Mart! How are you? Headaches can be a side effect of this medication, along with the thirst. The FDA lists other typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness and increased urination. The side effects should taper off after about 4 to 5 weeks, as your body gets used to the medication. If they don't, or if they get worse, you should consult your doctor as this may not be the right medication for you. Is there anything else I can help with?

It's my understanding that the manufacturers started making ER (extended-release) tablets that have micro encapsulated beads within the pill that prevent the over release of medication. The reason they did that was due to the trend of chopping the pills into powder and insufflating it recreationally, which can be lethal. ## I agree with your logic, especially due to the widespread stance big pharma has taken against drug abusers. A number of other pain medications (such as Oxycodone) have also undergone their own unique preventative measures in recent years. Although I suppose another reason provoking such change might be for cutting manufacturing costs, as they tend to do so frequently all across the board. Do you know if these new extended release tablets are still in "tablet-...

Before I started taking Humira I read so many messages about issues with the drug. I suspect the people who are unhappy are far more likely to post comments than those who are happy. I'm going to reverse that trend. 66 y/o diagnosed with UC in September 2013. Initial therapy with Lialda was very effective. A year later following a flare I was prescribed Uceris to get back into remission. It too was effective. Yet another year later and another flare neither of these drugs did the job. Tried Rowasa to no avail and started a Prednisone taper. My doctor suggested Humira and I resisted strongly having read all of the negative blogs. Finally I threw in the towel and said let's do it....I was miserable. Less then two weeks into therapy after the first four injections and I am 90% to r...

I've taken 10mg Lisinopril with success for 9 days. Lowered my BP from 140s/90s to low 100s/low 70s. But on days 6-9 my BP was going down to 98/65 different times of the day, with some slight lightheadedness, no coughing. I was worried it would keep trending lower, especially while sleeping, and cause more dizziness. So my Dr gave me a 5mg RX. One day on that dose and I already noticed my BP going higher (High 130/high 80, low 90s). Now that I know I get better readings with 10mg I want to switch back. So my question is, is it ok that I went one day with 5mg and will go back to 10mg the next day? I was going to take another 5mg 12 hrs after my first dose but wasn't sure if that was ok? ## It really takes about 4 to 5 weeks, at one steady dosage, for Lisinopril to reach its full ...

On Losartan .5, less than 3 weeks In newly taking Losartan (no adverse side effect symptoms) average blood pressure has increased moderately during this time period . Physician advised. Curious if this experience was repeated in any clinical drug trials or other patients with a subsequent longer term use of the Losartan reversing the trend line to lowering BP. ## There is always a risk that any given medication could cause the opposite of its intended effects in some people that take it. It is not very common, but yes, the NIH and the FDA both note that it is possible and has happened, before. It may be that it is not the right medication to help you and you need to try something else. There are many blood pressure medications available. Has there been any change? ## Thanks for the feed...

I was looking at the reviews on the white WW with d10 on the back (don't touch the pail blue d10 pills).. I get told they're the best about, & they are the best available at this time. show pictures of generic40mg oxycodone595m ## I don't have an image to post for you, but I can tell you that this pill should be yellow and round, with an M in a box on one side and the 595 on the other. It contains 40mgs of Oxycodone, this is an older tablet that has been discontinue, because it was a time released generic for Oxycontin and the FDA stopped generics of it from being made to prevent so many being on the market and stem the trend of abuse and diversion. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Read more: Are there any questions or comments?

We recived refills of prescriptions but the bags are marked only in Korean. The pill is a capsule, darg green on one end imprinted TRD and peach colored on the other end with YH imprinted. I am guessing it is either cholesterol or some kind of anti depressive. Any help appreciated! ## I'll state ahead of time that since these are from a foreign source, I cannot be 100% certain of the identification. However, going by this company's trend in medication markings, I have a strong suspicion that this contains the antidepressant Trazodone, a generic for Desyrel. As I said, I can't be sure, but the YH is their logo and the additional 3 letters they use are always from the active ingredient. Just as an example, I've found other listings for pills with their markings and their o...

Before you use Fildena 150 or any other dosage of Fildena here are a few things that you should keep in mind: Fildena is advisable that you do not use Fildena 100 if you are suffering from liver disease, low blood pressure, high blood pressure, kidney diseases and any kind of heart problems. Do not consume drinking alcohol when you plan on taking Fildena, as if you consume alcohol, the drug may take a much long time to work. im taken oxycodone7.5/325 but it isnt working so my doctor is given me oxycondone5mg wich is stronger ## I think it's obvious to say that Acetaminophen (325 mg) + Oxycodone (7.5 mg) with the higher dose is stronger than the one with only 5 mg of Oxycodone and the same dosage of Acetaminophen. What i'm confused on, is why the doctor would give you a lower dose when you told him it wasn't working (or not strong enough I presume)? Some reviews I have come across say that it depends whether or not the medication is the generic version V.S. an off brand version, that determines how effective it may be. I personally can't verify this, but it seems to be a common trend in making sure you get the right brand of Oxycodone to find what suits your needs. I would assume that your do...

My pill for hydrocodone 10/325. Is white, oblong and had 3601*v imprinted on it. Just got it from Walmart. Is this the correct pill? I am used to taking the yellow oblong. ## Yeah I got mine today and to my surprise they were white not yellow but very similar except for the white is V 3609 and the yellow is V 3601. I was dissapointed because I hate the white ones no matter what brand. I hope they don't stopped making the yellow like watson did.
