Tremours

often i get tremours in the hands which is not controllable at times. it will not be there when there is a normal intake of alcohol. pls suggest a way out. ## These would be considered alcohol detoxification symptoms, similar to the withdrawal symptoms that someone gets when they have been abusing drugs. Your body gets so used to the constant alcohol use that it no longer remembers how to function without it. As to a way out, your best option is to pursue proper treatment. There are medications and therapies that your doctor can help you find. They will help you cope, both physically and mentally. Have you consulted a doctor, yet?

I have been on Epitec for a few months now for Bipolar II. I find it works well to stabalise my mood but I suffer from tremours. I drop things all the time and when I do something like cutting out paper I shake. I never had this problem before I started on Epitec. Could this be a side affect? ## Hi Louisa, I am not sure if Epitec can cause tremours but I can share my experience as I also had severe tremours so bad that I couldn't write or even hold my cell to my ear. I was on Convulex at the time and when I stopped that meds in about a week the tremours disapeared. I think best you see your specialist as it made my life much better. strongs.

Last June I started coming off Lamotrigine. I was on 125mg per day to stabilize my moods. I suffer from anxiety, depression, ocd, bpd, It did help at the start and pushed me to do things, but then it would wear off and I was told to keep increasing, but it started to affect my liver, my depression got worse, sweating, jewelry going black, and a few other things and I wanted to come off it. I slowly decreased it but as I was I started to get the shakes, upper torso and hands. The psychiatrist put me on Zyprexa to help with the withdrawals and also Benztropine for the shaking/tremours. I was having too many suicidal thoughts so I came off Zyprexa, but I still had the shakes. The doctor then put me on Valdoxan (Antidepressant) but that ended up putting me on the couch and I couldn't do...
