I've had two treatments. The last one was 4 days ago. My doctor says we can expect to see some reduction in the tumors after the 2nd or 3rd treatment. The only side affect I've had is some itching. I'm not sure it is a side affect, because I had a lot of itching before Yervoy. I have 15 tumors (all just under the skin) except for one in my lung. They range from pea size to small egg size. I'm working full time, eating well, sleeping well, and not in pain. From time to time some of these tumors will become tender or have vague pain or burning sensation for a few minutes to a few days. ## Hello, Sue! How are you doing? Flupen what it is used to treat? I feel a severe pain on the upper right chest it started from the armpit. I have painful blisters on my right hand on my palm and fingers. They look whitish and have water inside. The ones I have on my hand feel like I was burnt and are in groups. I went to clinic they gave me Flupan 250. Prescribed Flagyl and Cipro for Diverticulitis. The metal taste is awful but I can deal with it and the nausea. What I can't deal with is the burning pains in my stomach... The pain in the bladder area is like strong pricks, pins or cramps. I am on Day 30 of Efudex treatment on the top of my nose and a small area on my chest. I stopped the cream on Day 28 as the skin was starting to erode. I've had headaches the past two weeks that won't go away with ibuprofen, Goody's headache powders, tylenol... nothing. It's caused me to generally feel like crap. My 15year old daughter is on 10mg lexamil for burn out depression. She really would like to stop the treatment. As far as I know it is recommended to stay on the treatment at least for 6 months to a year. I can not consult the psychiatrist in this matter. Please advise! ## Why doesn't she want to stay on it? It would really be best for her to follow the doctor's instructions. Stopping it abruptly, or too soon may result in rebound depression, suicidal thoughts, irritability and violent acts, as detailed by the NIH. Is she on any other medications? I've recently experienced burning feet and hands. I've been on Zarelto for over a year. Where can I find butesin picrate burn ointment? ## Hi Kathye, Based on my research, Butesin Picrate does not appear to be available anymore from the proposed manufacturer (Abbott Australasia). However I did come across an older post back from 2011, stating that there were pharmacies in Guatemala who carried it under the Spanish name Picrato de Bustesin. Perhaps you can find more specific details on it's availability by searching in this way. On a side note, aloe vera gel is also a good substitute for burn treatment if all else fails.
