I just want to know how I can stop the hair fall and save the rest of my hair? Please help me. ## Are either of you on any medications? Do you have any diagnosed medical conditions? There are various ones that could cause hair loss, according to NIH studies. Victor, that is a normal loss level and not usually anything to worry about. Are you starting to bald? Is the loss noticea...

I am a 23 year old man having hair fall for the last two years and also it is spreading from me to others. I don't know why it's happening. My doctor said hair loss wont spread but i am sure it's spreading. I have tried many treatments but no luck. Please anyone help me. {edited for privacy}.

I was wondering if anybody has heard of a natural treatment which is supposed to halt hair loss and even cause a regrowth of hair. There are a number of resources online of sites that discuss old East Indian remedies for this. One recipe I heard of combines bay leaf, onion, and vodka. Others involve making an elixir which contains several natural oils and leaving them on the scalp for 1 hour to even over night. Can somebody offer good feedback and/or recommendations? There is even a manual for $35 which is being sold here. Any feedback would be appreciated. ## too have the same problem, i bought some hair treatment medication from the web

I'm 20 years old. My hair is thin and silky. I cannot find the exact problem and am wondering if I can use vitamine E capsules such as Evion 400 in my hair? ## Dear, evion 400 is not a solution. Please find the Brand Vitosara tab of win-healthcare pvt ltd, that could help a lot.... ## I am 25 years of age. Can i use evion 400 for hair loss and skin complexion? Are there any side effects like increasing weight after using evion 400? ## Hi amu, Evion 400 can be used to help clear skin pigmentation, improve skin texture, and increase hair density. From what I could gather, Evion only contains smaller amounts Vitamin E, Essential Fatty acids, and wheat germ oil; so to answer your question about weight gain, there really isn't enough fat in here to promote weight gain, unless of coar...

Hello, I am Hans (71 years). I live in Germany. I've been taking Harvoni for 6 weeks. I am happy that I have no problems and no side effects. I started with a viral load of 1.1 million. The fist blood test after 14 days had a reduction to 94 (!). In 2 days I shall see my doc again. I'm curious about the new result (I hope ZERO). Good luck to all. ## 10 more days to go with the harvoni.. Did have some side effects: Confusion, anxiety, insomnia and some hair loss... I'll be glad when it's over and hope I can get back to normal. Undetected at 4 weeks. ## I did really well on Harvoni tx too, Hans. I had to be on it for 24-wks., as I was at 4th stage liver failure. I've been virus-free for 2 years. My side effects on Harvoni, were mostly fatigue, got 3 or 4 headaches tota...

can this increases scalp itching. I am using these capsules due to my hair loss. ## How does astymin forte and autrin helpful for hair loss ## Astymin M Forte is a nutritional supplement, so it may help with hair loss, if a deficiency in one of the vital nutrients it contains has caused the hair loss. The NIH does warn that it may cause nausea, in some people that take it, as a side effect, due to its potency. Autrin is used for the treatment of certain anemias, Priya, so it should not be taken without a doctor's approval. The U.S. FDA warns that getting too much of some of the nutrients it contains could also be very dangerous. Khari, no it has not been known to cause scalp itching, according to the listed details. Are you on any other medications? ## I do have grey hair after appl...

I am experiencing hair loss, can Evion 400 help? Can it be used orally or should I apply it directly to my hair? ## Since this is just a vitamin E supplement, it will only help with hair loss, if it is being caused by a lack of this vital nutrient. If something else is causing your hair loss, it is unlikely that it will do anything. As to how to take it, since these are intended to be taken orally, I can only suggest you stick with taking them that way. These are concentrated, so breaking them open to apply to your hair or skin could cause some irritation and problems. A vitamin that you may want to consult your doctor about taking is Biotin, a deficiency in it has been shown to cause hair loss in some people, so supplementing it can help with this problem. Are there any other questions...

I have been on xolair for over a year now. After the first 3 months of treatment, I lost a lot of hair during the next few months. Much more than the normal nightly loss but doctor denied that xolair had anything to do with it. I know better. Hair loss stabilized around the 6 to 7 month period. I'm very lucky to have had a lot of hair to begin with or I could have been bald by now. ## Hello, Mark! How are you? Hair loss has been noted by the FDA as being reported in post-approval use. Since it's not listed among the typical side effects that were compiled pre-approval, then your doctor may not be aware of it. Other side effects are listed as possibly including dizziness, ear pain, joint/muscle pain and dry mouth. I'm glad it stabilized for you. Are you back to your normal lo...

Has anyone tried Fincom-1? I bought this for hair loss. But, I'm sort of hesitant to use this now. Is this safe to take? Grateful for any information about Fincom-1. ## Fincom-1? Yes, it is a very popular Finasteride tablets (generic Propecia) here in Japan. I guess we Japanese like this medicine, because we can see the analisis report of the product at the manufactur's page. If you have Japanese friends, you should ask him/her to google fincom in Japanese katakana letter. Then you will find out how popular the med is. And also a very funny discussion is going on at 2channel jp among Fincom maniacs. Fincom maniacs are there to compare with other finasteride tablets or lotion treatments every day and night. ## hi will like to know is fincom1 is a finasteride drug? ## yes it is a ...

I had being taking Redotex for the last ten years. It really help me to supress my appetite and keep it energized the whole day. I exercise and have good eating habits. My health is good according to the last medical exams. However, a year ago I started to loss hair and I was diagosed with alopecia areata. I'm currently in treatment and my hair is re-growing on the treated hair areas, but I'm keep losing hair from other parts of my head. My question is it is possible that redotex had somehting to do with my hair loss? ## The active ingredients in Redotex are Amphetamines and the Benzodiazepine Diazepam, and hair loss is not a normal side effect of either class of medications, but any drug can affect everyone differently. What does your doctor think has caused it? Are you still t...

Since using Soriatane, my hair has become brittle and is falling out. I recently stopped taking the drug but it's still falling out. Will this ever get better? ## HI, Dorothy! Sorry about the hair loss, that is just awful for a woman to have to deal with. And yes, it should get better, if it was just caused by the medication. However, if it was influenced by something else, such as imbalanced hormones, then it may not improve, so you'll really just have to wait awhile and see. How bad is the loss? Have you tried any treatments for the brittleness?

Has anyone had hair loss after taking Levaquin? I've read it can deplete magnesium and iron and cause hair loss. Mine started one month after my last 10 day dose. I feel like it has to be connected. Anyone who has had this, please let me know! Docs never want to admit this can be cause, but I feel like it's too much of a cooincidence! Help! ## Yes, as listed by the FDA, alopecia (hair loss) is a known side effect of this medication, along with nausea, dizziness, headache and photosensitivity. However, such side effects are usually transient and will reverse, once you finish your course of treatment, but it could take awhile for your body to balance things back out. Has there been any change, yet?

1500 per day and is showing regular signs of hair loss ## Hair loss is actually reported to be a common side effect of Depakote (Valproic Acid). Referenced from: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0000677/#a682412-sideEffects Generally, this type of side effect won't go away until the medication is completely out of your system. But if you haven't already done so, I would suggest talking to your doctor about any other alternative treatment options that can replace Depakote. I hope this helps!

My TSH was 5 and my doctor started me on Thyronorm 25mcg. It was later increased to 50mcg which I have been taking for almost 4 years. Is there any way to stop this medication or do I have to take it lifelong? And will the dose increase as the time passes? I am 26 years old and do regular exercise and try my best to eat healthy. Are there any side effects associated with the long term use of Thyronorm? I have started noticing weight gain. ## Generally, if you have a thyroid disorder, you will have to take the medication for the rest of your life, but the dosage will depend on your TSH levels, so it may vary in the future. The NIH lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, hair loss, mood swings, and weight changes.

I am taking Xolair for autoimmune disease. I have told my doctor about my severe hair loss and he suggested that it is not because of the Xolair, but instead autoimmune response. I, of course, think it is because of the Xolair have I read a lot of what other people taking the drug have said. Is there any information I can point my doctor to in hopes of getting better/different treatment. ## Hello, Mel! How are you doing? I am very sorry about the problems that you're having. Your doctor just needs to look at the detail prescribing information. It is all listed in there among the side effect information. You may also experience nausea and fatigue. Does anyone else have any advice to add? ## Hi. I have been on xolair for 9 months. I started shedding 5 months in, and it hasn't stop...

Has anyone had good luck using alternative natural supplements instead of taking Eliquis? I've been on it for 4 months and it just keeps getting worse. All over body pain and weakness. Chest pain. Messes with my BP. Itching. Can't sleep. Nausea. Tingling in legs. No motivation. Headaches. Hair loss. Eye pain. Can't gain weight. It's awful. Any advice or help would be appreciated. Thanks. ## Unfortunately, those are all fairly common side effects of Eliquis, according to the FDA, and in some cases, they have been so bad that people had to stop taking it. Warfarin is often used to prevent the same types of clotting issues, but it does require regular blood draws to check your clotting factor, and frequent dosage adjustments. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possib...

I changed my BP drugs to Adco Bisocor - a small dose of 5mg a day for marginally raised BP. The previous drugs were causing hair loss and severe weight loss, as well as loss of appetite. At first the Adco Bisocor seemed fine - I've been on it about 4 years now. The hair loss and weight loss were almost totally reversed. However, I have now once again been losing weight, some hair, and have been extremely dehydrated to the extent that my mouth is almost too dry to speak. Can this be the drug? ## Have you consulted your doctor? The active ingredient in this is Bisoprolol, which is a beta blocker and yes, it is always possible for a medication to suddenly start causing new side effects, because our bodies are always changing. However, you should check with a doctor to determine whether...
