I am on 24 weeks treatment I did 1 month and a half with harvoni and ribavirin stop the ribavirin and my liver enzymes Alt and Ast were up in my blood works then on my next blood works 14 weeks into treatment my enzymes went down again. I don't know if it was the virus resistance. ## Ribavirin has been known to affect the liver, and to cause side effects, including elevated liver enzymes on blood work, so it may have just been due to taking it. Ref: Medline Plus Ribavirin Other side effects may include nausea, insomnia, memory loss, diarrhea, and cough, according to FDA reports. Did your doctor feel there was any reason to be concerned? Harvoni can also cause side effects, such as nausea, muscle pain, dizziness, irritability, headache, and tiredness. Ref: Medline Plus Harvoni

I developed a severe fungal infection internally in my neck and vagina after taking natural wild organic mushroom capsules. I already had bacterial cellulitis in neck so this is probably why it developed there. I was choking on my own neck tissues n had a hacking cough. I My could feel the spores inside of my neck like tree roots n im not joking. My doc basically didn't believe this could happen n refused to prescribe antifungal. Luckily I had one at home anyway from before that I hadnt needed to use. I took it n next morning I was spitting up yellow mucus that was very smooth like cottage cheese weird I know but I guess thats the fungus coming out. The same thing happened next morning n then stopped. It killed off a good bit of fungus but was still a good bit left at same time but it

You just have to find a Vet that can fill that specific prescription. I have gone through several Vets to find the Tussigon cough medication for our dog. I finally found a great Vet that can fill the prescription in their office every 30 days. That's the easiest way to go. ## How many pills and what was the cost? I just picked up 21 pills from my vet and it cost me $55.75. Can I get this filled cheaper anywhere? ## Thanks for the helpful feedback Jeri! If you'd be so kind, please also feel free to share your message in the existing Tussigon discussion threads so that others who may also be searching for this treatment will have a chance to read it and/or respond at: 1. tussigon hycodan 5mg for dogs 2. tussigon for dog problems @Barbara, I think the cost may vary from pharmacy to...

I have a baby. He is six years old. For the last 3 days/nights he has been suffering from a fever and cough. Please suggest me an antibiotic name that could help. ## Have you consulted his doctor? An appropriate medication will depend on what issue is causing these symptoms. The NIH lists the typical side effects of antibiotics as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea. I have a bad wheezing cough. I have had pnemonia twice in my life. My mom has some Cefilexin from Mexico. Is it the right medicine to take for my cough? What dosage should I take? ## Cehpalexin is an antibiotic, it is used to treat or prevent infections, so it will not help with a cough, unless an infection is the underlying cause. Have you consulted your doctor? With your history of pneumonia, you should do so, as soon as possible, to get proper treatment, if necessary.

Thick yellow liquid used for treatment of cough with pneumonia. ## Inquiry about Tussionex by Tsquare The doctor, not my regular doctor, prescribed Tussionex (1 tsp twice every 24 hours) and Levaquin (1 750 mg tablet a day, 10 tablets with no refills) I will be 79 in May, have good diet, do 2 sets of tennis two days a week, have heart-healthy diet, relaxed lifestyle. would like to know what type of drug this is how it used and are there any problems with it before i give it ## Hi gail, Based on my research, Keycotuss contains the active ingredient Guaifenesin. Guaifenesin is primarily used in the treatment of coughing, but the drug has numerous other uses, including medical, veterinary, and personal. Guaifenesin is in a class of medications called expectorants. It works by thinning the mucus in the air passages to make it easier to cough up the mucus and clear the airways. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Guaifenesin Details I hope this info helps! :)

My 11 month old baby is suffering from asthmatic coughing and wheezing. Can I give Theo Asthalin syrup to her? ## Are you sure it due to asthma? Has her doctor confirmed this? Treatments might differ, depending on the actual diagnosis. I would not suggest giving her anything that her doctor has not approved. Is she on any other medications? Has she been diagnosed with any medical conditions?
