Tramadol Ua

I'm on probation and was told I tested positive for opioid. And they send it to a lab . i am on ultrams. So could that be the reason I tested positive? And if so what will it break down to in the lab? Like.. Oxy or morphine ect..? ## Ultram or Tramadol is a synthetic opioid. There is a big argument as to if it is addictive or not. My doctor had prescribed me Vicodin for medical problems I was having and after being on it long term I felt they weren't addressing my medical issues as much as they were medicating them. I went cold turkey which I found out is dangerous and it was no walk in the park. I took 1 pill of tramadol that was a 50mag and I took my dot drug test today but I took the pill last did not help the pain will it still show up in my test ## I'm taking tremidal currently without a prescription.Will it show up as an opiate, or an opioid on an 8 panel drugscreen for probation and parole. ## I just tIok a ua with Probation in clark county Washington drug court... tramadol does not show up in your urine.

Will I come out dirty with opiates? ## Gorilla, As far as the ua goes you will not test positive unless the test specifically for this substance which is rare. As for a hair follicle test, that I can not say but traditionally the protocol for that level of testing is far more inclusive and sensitive for all substances. I am familiar with those who claimed a false positive with the ua for Mexican mtf. I'm prescribed Tramadol but my husband is Not! He had a bad migrane n i gave him one of my tramadol to take and he's on probation and now I'm worried that it will show up on his drug test! Interested in knowing more about this NEW - Dip Stick (almost like a pregnancy test). What does it Actually Look for or Read? I've been taking 10mg of oxycodone hcl per day for 2yrs; that down from 30mg 5yrs ago. Last visit to doctor, he wanted a UA. No prob til I was told it was going to be $150!!! I had a few left at home so I walked out. Now I'm out but I have 50mg tramadol. What would be a comparable dose of tramadol to approximately equal oxycodone? ## Hello Teslacoils, Unfortunately only your primary care physician is going to be able to give you accurate medical advise on this kind of situation especially as you have mentioned that you have years of medical history to consider. Self medicating is dangerous and can lead to drug addiction/abuse.

Can you please tell me why I would fail for morphine when my ua was sent to the lab? The only thing that I had taken was tramadol ## Am on norco and tramadol. For pain all from pain doctor. I am going to be tested, but am not sure which test I will be required to take. can u tell me what the test will show if I take flexril, tramadol, prednisone, and nyquil ## As far as I know, prednisone shouldn't show up at all, and neither should the other things but each of the other is a possibility. Tramadol isn't necessarily an opiate but it works with the opiate receptors and can cause a false positive. Flexeril is a skeletal muscle relaxant and also isn't tested for on any ua as far as I've ever heard, but it has been known to cause false positives for benzodiazepines (Xanax, Valium, Ativan, etc.). And also NyQuil contains alcohol I believe and if your test includes alcohol as a panel it can show up depending on how far apart your last use was from your test and ot...

I am taking Tone Fusion Diet pills ...I only take one daily (calls for 3 daily) I know myself I DO NOT do street drugs or take anybody else's prescriptions. ..had a UA today for a job and failed for amphetamines. ...my prescription drugs are, tramadol 50mg, trazodone 150mg, zanaflex, ibuprofen 600, naproxen 500mg, levothyroxine 50mg, effexor 300mg daily, and albuterol inhaler. Over the counter has been the diet pills mentioned above, doans back aid. I have severe fibromyalgia and I c a pain doc for meds. I had a drug test 2 weeks ago n hydromorphine came back positive when I don't even take it.... instead I take morphine sulfate er, tramadol, gabapentin, savella, tizanidine, and meloxicam. I had to go bk in 2day for another ua, n a pill count. I stressed how I didnt take hydromorphine n all they said is that they had my ua tedtrf 2 xs...at diff labs I guess...n it confirmed hydromorphine...I've never heard of this med till today. if my ua come bk positive again for anything except what he gives me I'm dismissed. I've done research in it says morphine can metabolize into hydromorphine....I know my ua was a false positive but how do I prove it to my doc...it's noted bout my ua being positive for a class 2 drug...s...

I failed a ua for benzos and the only thing I have been taking is flexeril. can it cause you to fail a UA for benzos ## Yes I would like to know why benzo's show up on my urine test every week and I only take flexeril,gabapentin,oxycodone so can someone explain why?? I currently go to a pain clinic and am prescribed Norco, 7.5 four times daily. Unfortunately, I ran out early this month for the first time this year. I have an appointment on Monday and have enough to cover my pill count, but I found out I will also be receiving a UA Monday. So my question is, if I take one pill the night (or morning) of my appointment, will it show up on the UA? I don't want to get a negative result on the hydro as they would assume I am selling, which I am not. Just ran out early. Would oxycontin & roxicodone show up the same in a probation urine test? ## No they show up separate. ## Yes, They will test you positive for opiates. No differentiation between different varieties of opiates.
