will tramdol lower your blood pressure ## Lowered blood pressure isn't on the list of adverse effects for Tramadol, however if you only experienced this side effect while taking Tramadol, then more than likely it is the drug. (it would also be imperative to check if your dietary habits were in order when you checked your blood pressure). On another note, if you are referring to the indications of Tramadol: It is used for treating moderate to moderately severe pain. The drug has a wide range of applications, including treatment for restless leg syndrome, acid reflux, and fibermyosis. Hypertension is not listed as one of the uses. pill white and round and is quartered and has zc 02 indented on 1 side. ## Hi Dave, Just wanted to confirm first and foremost that the pill you're describing is NOT Tramadol at all. It's actually listed as a 25mg Promethazine hydrochloride tablet, prescribed for allergy/cold symptoms as well as other uses. If you wanted to look this up for additional verification, the manufacturer is reported to be Zydus Pharma and the pill itself carries a National Drug Code of 68382-0041. I hope this helps!

What is the normal dose for tramadol hcl 50mg? I am taking utter prn tid for severe back pain. I have taken 75mg before I got relief. ## Tramadol became a Schedule IV August 18, 2014. Under Federal Law, a dr can write refills and can call it in. There are no restrictions on how often you must see your dr. But, your dr can have you come in as often as he wants and he doesn't have to give refills or call it in. ## The interesting thing about Tramadol is the fiasco of its creation. LOL Originally, the intent was to try to create a medication that would have the pain relieving properties of opiates, without having the addictive tendencies, and all the side effects, however, what they ended up with is a mild pain reliever that can still be habit forming, and is only a moderate level anal...

My Dr. put me on tramadol 50mg 2 every 6hours.I was on codeine #3 but the VA pharmacy ran out and wont have them till Feb. My question is will I have any bad affects switching from codeine #3 to tramadol 50 mg thanks for your help. ## Hello, Mark! How are you? It only takes 45mgs of the Tramadol to equal each 30mgs of Codeine that you were taking, so you may actually get better pain relief from taking 100mgs of it. And the side effects should be about the same, the FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## thanks for your help. ## You are very welcome! Are there any other questions or con...

I've been taking 10mg of oxycodone hcl per day for 2yrs; that down from 30mg 5yrs ago. Last visit to doctor, he wanted a UA. No prob til I was told it was going to be $150!!! I had a few left at home so I walked out. Now I'm out but I have 50mg tramadol. What would be a comparable dose of tramadol to approximately equal oxycodone? ## Hello Teslacoils, Unfortunately only your primary care physician is going to be able to give you accurate medical advise on this kind of situation especially as you have mentioned that you have years of medical history to consider. I was prescribed Tramadol Sandoz Capsules 50mg for Urinary Tract Infection. After researching the drug I am wondering if this is the correct drug as it does not appear to be an antibiotic? ## No, it is not. Tramadol is actually an opioid, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. It can help with pain, but will not do anything to treat a bacterial infection. Who prescribed it? ## I believe that the Tramadol HCL is not only causing me to be constipated, but now I developed a UTI...what can I do naturally to help while I am on this medication? ## Weazie, Although tramadol can cause constipation the incidence of uti's have no correlation in the literature. There are many OTC and herbal alte...

is tramadol, a narcotic or non narctic pain medication ## Tramadol is actually classified as a non-narcotic, centrally active analgesic. There have been questions raised over its status and the classification has been changed, several times. This is due to the fact that it is derived from a narcotic. When it was created, those developing it tried to create a medication that would be as effective for pain as a narcotic, but without the side effects and addicting properties. However, they later found out that this did not work. What they actually created is something that isn't as effective and still caused all the other problems. I broke my seismoid bone in my foot Saturday day bprescribed that will have to heal on its own. Dr gave me Tramadol hcl 50mg #30. To take every four hours. I wore a support/walking boot until work on Friday and Saturday this past week. Due to safety I was unable to wear it to work waiting tables for 5 and 7 hours shifts. Both my feet were very sore after. I think bc my good foot compensated for the bad. I just ran out yesterday and only took as prescribed. I did get a refill tonight after trying tylenol and motrin with no relief. I wasn't concerned until I read some posts about it having withdrawal affects. I did start having light nausea and body aches begin last night and have worsened some today. I assumed I might be getting the flu since my three year old has been battling prett...

Getting back to tramadol and suboxone... I was put on tramadol hcl 50mg by my primary doctor. He started me out with 3 tramadol daily, now he dropped it to 2 a day. My question is, he said it was safe to take w/ my suboxone (i've been on sub about 15 years for opiate addiction), and he said Tramadol is the only pain med that you can take (strong enough to give my lower back some relief) and safe to take w/ the suboxone. But i think I'm now dependent on the tram, i get the sweats, body aches, all the same withdrawal as w/ opiates, and i still take my suboxone which don't seem to bother me. But know i take anywhere from 15 to 20 tramadols per day, I'm supposed to take 3 suboxone per day, but i'm only taking 1. Please help, i have a lower back injury and my doctor who l...

However, your doctor does know what he's doing and he did the right thing by ordering the x-ray. Due to the layout of nerves in our bodies, pain can radiate.
