I have been there I know what you mean. But I ask my doctor if he could take me off of that and give me Tramadole 50mg and with Tramadole you wont have the side effects from the pain killers it will take all of that away. Hope I was able to help you ## Hi Melvin, I'm not sure who you might've been responding to since this is a relatively new discussion thread with no other posts…but it's imperative that you don't give out false information pertaining to the side effects of Tramadol. All prescription medications have the potential to cause side effects in some users. And while not everyone experiences these side effects, you can't necessarily rule out those who do (especially those facing addiction or dependance issues). Linked below is a list of possible side e...

I have been taking Tramadol for almost 10 years in high doses 600 to 1000mg a day. I lead a productive life have a family but i know its time to stop. I cant even remember why I started taking Tramadol. I'm looking for any advice or experences amnyone else has had with withdrawing. ## Hello, DD! How are you? Since you've been taking doses that high, withdrawing could be dangerous and stopping it may be complicated, thus, it would really be best to get medical assistance doing so. The FDA lists the typical withdrawal effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, fatigue, diarrhea, fever, chills and seizures. Can anyone else chime in with their experiences? ## Yes, me to!! I take about the same amount or more a day. I have wanted to stop a bunch of times. I'm a middle aged ...

I have taken different varieties and markings of tramadol and notice some work better than others and some make me sick. Does tramadol come in different makeups. ## Hello, Sadie! How are you? I'm sorry about the experiences you've had. They all contain the same active ingredient, but the inactive may be different from one manufacturer to another. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. However, there can be slight variations in the amount of the active ingredient from one generic to another, so some may have a little more than usual, which could explain why they made you ill. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have been taking Lyrica about six months. I have been taking other meds for pain. I have stopped taking the pain RX Tramadol. I still have memory problems, but I started this week taking just one Lyrica ( I was taking two a day 75 mg). ## THE FDA WANTS TO HEAR ABOUT THE BAD EXPERIENCES WITH LYRICA. FDA.gov/Safety/MedWatch ## Lyrica contains the active ingredient Pregabalin, which is an anticonvulsant and the FDA does warn that some medications in this class are well known to cause memory issues. Other side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, mood swings, and weight changes. As to the comment about the FDA, they want to hear about bad experiences with all medications, not just this one, so please don't be afraid to submit reports. Is there anything else I ca...

My father recently took Pantop 40 for the treatment of gastritis along with Opidol (tramadol hydrochloride 50 mg) while he was having the red erythematous patches in his extremities. There were some of patches in the lower abdomen. All these persists along with some abdomen pain. ## Has the gastritis improved, at all? In some cases the Pantoprazole can actually aggravate the stomach pain that a gastritis patient experiences. Learn more Pantoprazole information here. As to the red patches, has he tried any solutions for them? Has his doctor provided any solutions?

my name is kay can my husband take the methylprednisolone 4 mg can he take soma 350 mg with this he is in major pain and this is what they gave him plus 800 mg ibuprofen and tramadol help can't handle the crying. ## Hello, Kay! How is your husband doing? I didn't find any problems or interactions listed between the Methylprednisolone and Soma, however, taking Ibuprofen with the Methylprednisolone can increase his risk of stomach ulceration, according to the FDA and taking Soma with Tramadol may increase the amount of sedation he experiences, so he may experience a lot of dizziness and drowsiness. Is there anything else I can help with?

Has anyone experience body cramps from taking Hysingla ER and have you found any ways to suggest to prevent or relieve the cramping? See "my story" below: I started on Hysingla ER 20 mg and am now up to Hysingla ER 80mg(due to insurance not approving a therapeutic dose to begin with). I normally do not share and am a very private person but because of Hysingla ER being so new I decided maybe my experiences would help someone else. I was in picture perfect health! I worked as an Emergency RN for over 25 years and VERY against narcotics. I was in an auto wreck that left me with severe spinal injuries (cervical and lumbar). I started with tramadol (did nothing) then lower doses of Norco. As time passed the pain worsened and the Norco doses and frequency increased. My life was getti...
