I have been there I know what you mean. But I ask my doctor if he could take me off of that and give me Tramadole 50mg and with Tramadole you wont have the side effects from the pain killers it will take all of that away. Hope I was able to help you ## Hi Melvin, I'm not sure who you might've been responding to since this is a relatively new discussion thread with no other posts…but it's imperative that you don't give out false information pertaining to the side effects of Tramadol. All prescription medications have the potential to cause side effects in some users. And while not everyone experiences these side effects, you can't necessarily rule out those who do (especially those facing addiction or dependance issues). Linked below is a list of possible side e...

my mother lives in a rural area in qld australia and find s it hard to obtain her medication. i am her carer and she has asked me to seek information to relieve her pain. mum is a cancer sufferer. ## Hi! I'm very sorry about the problems she's having, no one should have to suffer and be miserable. However, I really don't know what options are available in Australia. The best idea I have is for you to check and see if there is a mail order place that can send her prescription medications directly to her door, or to you as her caregiver. If that's an option that's available there, it may help because her doctor could fax the prescriptions to them, which would save a lot of hassle and trouble. Does anyone else have any ideas?

What is the diffrence in taking tramadol 50 mg, and taking tylenol with codeine#3 300/30mg ## Hello, Butterfly! How are you? They are almost equivalent, actually. You'd need 33.33mgs of Codeine to be equivalent to the 50mgs of Tramadol. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Desperate times require desperate measures. With that said I filled my tramadol script off the internet. I recieved them today but not the way I bought them before they went controlled. These came vacuumed packed. Can anyone tell me what I blew my money on? Small round white T 50. I've looked and only found rybix but those melt under your tongue. There's no mint flavor on them. Anyone know if these are tramadol? From India? China? Not looking for a lecture. Try going through a medical condition. Can't get Obama care can't get state aid cuz I make over $300 a month. Was looking for help before giving up. ## All you have to do it make a police report. Take report to doctor-if doctor has no problems with you. Sees you haven't been abusing them, then he should have no pr...

I have more pain relief taking one 50 mg Tramadol every 3 hours instead of 2 tablets every 6 hours. My primary dr. is ok with this but my pharmacist is a little hesitate. I can take 5 pills per day. What would you suggest and why? ## If your doctor approves, then it is best to follow their guidance, it is not the pharmacist's decision. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. In actuality, how would the pharmacist know you were taking them every 3 hours, rather than every 6, if they weren't informed of such? I take a couple of blood pressure and heat medications, which are most commonly dosed once a day, but I take them twice daily, because it works bet...

This drug has made me nauseate and black out unconsciously after three hours of taking the drug to treat my headache. Unfortunately also it did not rid of my headache. Im going back to Advil. ## Hello, Nikki! How are you? Do you mean you actually passed out, or that it just made you drowsy and you had to lay down to sleep? If it actually made you pass out, then you need to seek medical attention to have the issue checked out. Was it prescribed to treat your headaches? This isn't one that's normally used for them. ## Tramadol for headache?? That's something new I am getting to hear because as per my knowledge tramadol is very effective for all types of acute and chronic physical pains but that doesn't include headache. Have your doctor prescribed it for headache??

Hello. I am a 31 year old woman who was diagnosed 5 years ago with Psoriasis and more recently Psoriatic Arthritis. In addition to taking Humira for this, I also have been prescribed Tramadol 50mg 3x a day. While this drug may not help a lot of you with your symptoms, it has done wonders for me in more ways than one! I would first like to say though that even thought my prescription is for 3x a day, I only take one first thing in the morning and it helps greatly with my pain! Now for my question. After taking this drug for a few weeks it has done something strange. I have had OCD for years and over time my compultions have just gotten worse and worse. Now after being on the Tramadol they seem to be much better! Has anyone else with OCD taking this medication had the same effects? I have...

So I had taken tramadol a couple times in the past. I started out taking 6 pills at 50 mg each. The second time I did it I took 6 as well and my tolerance had already built up on them and they did next to nothing. A few days later I decided to up my dosage to 8 pills or 400mg along with about 1 1/2 beers. I got home that night and went to bed around midnight feeling pretty medicated. I woke up at 2:30am covered in vomit surrounded by paramedics wondering what the f*** just happened. Turns out I had a seizure and was throwing up the nastiest brown colored vomit I've ever seen. So they took me to the hospital and they did several tests, I never told them I OD'ed. While there I had serious back pain and after I got released I had some X-rays done, and from the seizure I had a compr...

I hava a presciption of tramadol thats looks diffrent than my others it has 319 inprint and my others have an an627 why are they different? ## Because they were manufactured by a different company. Tramadol is a generic medication, so there are several companies that manufacture it and, under federal law, each company has to use a unique imprint for their product that will enable its active ingredient, dosage and the manufacturer to be identified, in case of emergency. Many pharmacies will order from whichever company is offering the cheapest supply, at the time they have to restock their shelves, so it isn't unusual to receive pills that have a different marking, when you go in for a refill or to get a new prescription filled. The pill you received, however, is a 50mg Tramadol tabl...

pill white and round and is quartered and has zc 02 indented on 1 side. ## Hi Dave, Just wanted to confirm first and foremost that the pill you're describing is NOT Tramadol at all. It's actually listed as a 25mg Promethazine hydrochloride tablet, prescribed for allergy/cold symptoms as well as other uses. If you wanted to look this up for additional verification, the manufacturer is reported to be Zydus Pharma and the pill itself carries a National Drug Code of 68382-0041. I hope this helps!

Is it ok to take 1 Tramadol every 2 hours? No more than 8 per day? ## Hello, Steven! How are you? No, you should not exceed the dosage recommended by your doctor, when it was prescribed. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## As per my knowledge and whatever i have read about tramadol dosage differ according to age, gender and pains. Does tramadol 50mg contain codeine? The pharmacist that I spoke to while picking up the prescription assured me that it does not. I'm severely allergic to codeine and as I read the packet I got with the medication it says if you are severely allergic to codeine to not take this medication. Please help. ## Hello, Nicole! How are you? No, the pharmacist was correct. Tramadol is the active ingredient, it is a mild opioid analgesic. Thus, the FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. If you are allergic to one narcotic, there is always a risk that you may be allergic to others, but it isn't a very common occurrence. Tramadol itself, however, is not Codeine. Is there anything ...
