celebrated anniversary and consumed 2 glasses of red wine while on Tramadol. Was this ok as it specifically warns not to on the label?? ## The reason that warning is on the label is because combining it will alcohol can worsen the side effects of the medication, so you may experience much more dizziness, drowsiness and nausea than usual. It kind of makes one drink equal to 2 and so on. Additionally, both the Acetaminophen and the alcohol can have detrimental effects on your liver, though it is doubtful that any long term harm was caused by just two glasses of wine. However, if you are concerned, then consult your doctor to be on the safe side. Learn more Tramadol details here. Learn more Acetaminophen details here. is tramadol tan capsule an617 the same as white one 334 my hemorrhoids are bleeding could this be why? ## Hello, Phyllis! How are you? These both contain 37.5mgs of Tramadol with 325mgs of Acetaminophen, they have just been manufactured by different companies, which is very common with generics. The FDA classifies this medication as an opioid, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. If the medication has caused constipation and you're straining to have a bowel movement, that may cause your hemorrhoids to become irritated and result in some bleeding, the same if your stool is just harder than usual. Have you had this checked out, yet?

I took a Tramadol 50mg, at 6am how long should I wait before taking my Hydrocodone 10/325mg ## It's always best to follow your doctor's dosing instructions, but usually you can just transition smoothly from one opiate to another, at the next scheduled dosing time. RAN OUT OF HYDROCOAPAP TAB 10-325MG, BUT HAVE TRAMADOL 50 MG, CAN I SUBSTITUTE?? ## Have you consulted your doctor? The Hydrocodone is a potent narcotic and the Tramadol is very mild, though it is distantly related, so you aren't likely to get the same effective pain relief that you do from the Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen tablet. ## If you are worried about your withdrawls, then yes you can. The max dose in 24 hours is 400mg. That's 8 pills. I did the same thing and took 200mg in the morning and 150 at night just to be safe. It will hold back the withdrawls and you will sleep comfortably. However, because its not an opiate, they will not "F" you up. You will not get HIGH from these. They do however trap seratonin for longer periods of time in your brain which for most peop...

We are in China and home on the 27th of February. Will the drug apo-tramadol/acet 37.5/325mg help me with a bladder infection until I get home or do I need to go to a hospital or clinic for another drug? I only have 8 pills left of the apo/sulfatrim so not enough until I get home.

Hi, I have been taking 100mg tramadol and hydrocodone 10-325mg for 6years together for chronic pain. I recently tried to fill both my scripts and was told by the pharmacist that I can no longer fill both since tramadol has been classed as a controlled substance that I would have to pick one that I want to take. I am pretty upset. Is there a way around this, I am a nurse and have patients that get multiple narcotic perscriptions at the same time how are they able to do that. Many people are on different types of narcotics at the same time for chronic pain because they work differently I dont see how the government can do this to people. ## I am very sorry about the problem that you've run into. It really makes no sense, because there is no regulation restricting someone to just one b...

I would like to know how many 37.5 mg of tramadol is equal to one norco 10-325mg. ## They aren't comparable and one cannot be converted to the other. Tramadol is derived from an opiate and shares some similar properties, but doesn't actually work the same as one and isn't as effective. Learn more Tramadol details here. However, Norco contains an actual narcotic, Hydrocodone, coupled with Acetaminophen. Learn more Norco details here. Thus, it is actually much stronger and more effective at treating pain. Is 50mg of tramadol the same as 3/325 of tramadol? ## Hi Penny, To answer your question, no, there actually isn't a 3/325mg dosage of Tramadol since those numbers refer to two separate medications and dosages. As far as dosing goes, the usual recommended dose of tramadol is 50-100 mg (immediate release tablets) every 4-6 hours as needed for pain. The maximum dose is marked at 400 mg/day. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Tramadol Details I hope this helps!
