I got a prescription of tramadol filled from Mexico, Teva brand 200mg... It has impression OEN-NEO... Am wondering if this contains the stated ingredient?

I smoke but do not drink alcohol, no illegal drugs & always good health with perfect blood pressure. Fractured Sacrum with multiple pain issues. Taking 200mg Tramadol 3 x's in a 15 hr day with 0 side effects. Started taking 30mg Elavil in pm, makes me very drowsy. My Tramadol also changed from white tablets to yellow/green capsule. I can't seem to find anywhere that states whether Tamol-xx 200mg (Tramadol HCL) is extended-release or immediate-release. The package doesn't mention anything. There happens to be two colors, one red and one white. Mine are red. I'd love to know if what I have is ER or IR. Anyone know?

I take 100 to 200mg of Tramadol per day for pain. I'm having a hysterectomy and will not be able to take it for at least 2 weeks prior to the procedure. I we recently put on an antidepressant called Brintellix 10mg. However i have been on tramadol 50mg 2x a day for over 2 years and 300mg gabapentin 3x a day for 2 years. As well as norco 7.5 3x day. I've only been on brintellix a week and nervous that maybe that's too much serotonin medicine. Does that make sense? ## Yes, it does make sense and it is a possible risk. Is Tamol-xx 200mg (Tramadol Hcl) a long-acting drug? ## From what I can find, yes it is listed as being a time released formulation of Tramadol. I'm currently taking 100mg of oxycodoe a day (20mg via percocet and 80mg via oxycontin) as well as 200mg daily of tramadol. I'm taking these as prescribed for chronic pain. My concern is, that after almost 2 years of being on these pain meds with the dosage increasing as my tolerance builds over time, if the Dr's are able to fix what is causing my pain, are there meds that will help ween me off the oxy?
