Went to a new doc who was concerned that I have been taking tramad acetaminophen 37.5/325mg and has taken me off of it. Would like to hear symptoms common to withdrawal from this drug? Thanks. ## According the FDA, Tramadol is an opioid, so the withdrawal effects from it can be similar to the one experienced from other opiates and may include nausea, diarrhea, headache, fever, chills, diarrhea and rebound pain. Did your doctor replace it with anything, or just take you off of it?

celebrated anniversary and consumed 2 glasses of red wine while on Tramadol. Was this ok as it specifically warns not to on the label?? ## The reason that warning is on the label is because combining it will alcohol can worsen the side effects of the medication, so you may experience much more dizziness, drowsiness and nausea than usual. It kind of makes one drink equal to 2 and so on. Additionally, both the Acetaminophen and the alcohol can have detrimental effects on your liver, though it is doubtful that any long term harm was caused by just two glasses of wine. However, if you are concerned, then consult your doctor to be on the safe side. Learn more Tramadol details here. Learn more Acetaminophen details here. is tramadol tan capsule an617 the same as white one 334 my hemorrhoids are bleeding could this be why? ## Hello, Phyllis! How are you? These both contain 37.5mgs of Tramadol with 325mgs of Acetaminophen, they have just been manufactured by different companies, which is very common with generics. The FDA classifies this medication as an opioid, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. If the medication has caused constipation and you're straining to have a bowel movement, that may cause your hemorrhoids to become irritated and result in some bleeding, the same if your stool is just harder than usual. Have you had this checked out, yet?
