I stumbled here and I'm in awe so many people are addicted to heavy duty pain meds. The Pharma's are getting richer and people are getting sicker. What a travesty. ## Hi Kim, It really is a shame to sit back and watch pharmacies grow richer while patients struggle and become entirely dependent upon the pharmacy...just to get through everyday life. In my opinion the best way to get back at pharmacies is to stick to natural alternatives, such as fruits/veggies, essential oils, herbs, meditation, etc, for our long term health. Many medications seem to contain extracts from plants anyways, so it makes sense that we should be using more raw plant matter that our bodies actually agree with.

I am training really hard, but I don't get sore after. Could this be because of the xeralto. Thank you ## Hello, Ange! How are you? I doubt it, Xeralto is actually reported by the FDA as causing aches and pains as side effects in some people that take it. As to your training, are you usually doing the same things at the same intensity? Because, if so, then it is normal for your body to get used to it and stop getting so sore and achy.

I'm just desperate to get in touch with other parents who have already gone through this or are currently. My daughter out of nowhere became constipated at 7 mths old. Testing, specialist appts., naturopaths, diet after diet and our new norm has been Miralax for almost 2 years. Half a cap every day has been her latest dose for regularity. She will soon be 4 next month and still wears diapers, because she poos in her underwear, pull up, and diaper. What she wears doesn't matter. She has 6-8 mths ago successfully and willingly without my knowledge gone to the toilet and successfully had a number 2. We've just had regression honestly since summer 2017. It is so hard to pinpoint the exact reason she refuses to number 2 on the toilet. I think it's a combination of being afrai...

Hi there! This is my second post on this issue and desperately need advice. I was diagnosed with tennis elbow a month back which i am sure was due to my heavy weight training. I took a 5 day seradic-p medication course but it helped only while i was on it. Now its been close to a month and it still hurts my elbow joint when i extend my arm or fold it tightly. My problem is that i DESPERATELY NEED TO RESUME MY WORKOUT JUST LIKE OLD DAYS. Cardio bores me to death. I guess the next appointment i would need to take would be that with a psychaiatric if i have to wait any longer before i resume my workout. Please help me advise how should i go about it? Is there any medication, ointment etc that would help me get rid of this probblem for good? Kindly help and advise.

Wondering if there are any restrictions on working out and weight training while on Warfarin? My doctor suggested not lifting more than 50 lbs. I just want to get toned and lose the flab. ## If your doctor didn't give you any other restrictions, then you should be fine, but you should always follow their instructions for your safety. Warfarin may cause side effects, such as nausea, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and dizziness. Is there anything I can help with?

"NPs and PAs who complete the required training and seek to prescribe buprenorphine for up to 30 patients will be able to apply to do so beginning in early 2017. Previously, only physicians could prescribe buprenorphine. Once NP's and PA's receive their waiver they can begin prescribing buprenorphine immediately." hhs.gov/about/news/2016/11/16/additional-steps-expand-opioid-treatment.html ## I saw that they are now able to do the training to be able to write for Buprenorphine. Where I live, we have the option of 2 or 3 Buprenorphine doctors that are all 30+ miles away. I live in a small town that is absolutely consumed with drugs, nearly everyone here is on some type of opiate and there simply aren't enough spots in the treatment facilities for all of these people. 60 year old triathlete in perfect condition had severe stroke with hemiplegia. First 18 months steady recovery... feeling well, no weight gain. 6 months after stroke I'm back training 6-8 hour (bike ride, weight training and swimming) per week. However, 3 month ago doctor insisted I start Xarelto (this was the only change in a very structured life). Since then I've put on 20 pounds, started retaining water like crazy, all the while on the strict training schedule and diet. Now I'm having so many muscle pain and strains, especially in the legs and shoulders that I've had to stop training. Now the weight is really piling up and the BP is getting hard to control. ## Yes, Xarelto has been known to cause these types of side effects, you are not the first person to report such...

So I have a regular 27 day cycle and I started my pill last week and not on the first day of my period to get my body used to it before marathon nov 4th. It has been a while since i was on the pill. Im taking lo loestrin.ok, so I got a little relaxed with hearing what you all said here. I spoke to my doctor today and told her i'll skip the placebo and go from one pack to starting another pack until i'm done with the marathon on nov 4, to hold off my period. She goes, well then there is a very strong chance if you do this you will have breakthrough bleeding for a very long time or a very long period until the marathon. Im freaked a little, please let me know your thoughts? or should i let my period come finish the full pack with placebo pills - and avoid placebo (last 4 pills) fo...

white round tablet with ZPL in a traingle shape on one side and the number 5 on the back. It is a sleep aid ## It's ZLP not ZPL; it's a 5mg Zolpidem (tradename Ambien). It's a sleep aid. It's prescription only because there are some contraindications (medical conditions or clashes with other medications you might be taking). ## The identification provided by Pete is correct, so thanks! Learn more Zolpidem details here. Zolpidem is used for the short-term treatment of insomnia, but there are other reasons that it is available by prescription only. It can cause next day grogginess in some people that can hit unexpectedly and affect their ability to drive or work. Along with that, it has caused odd behavior, while sleeping in some people, which has the potential to be dange...

In early 2019, I began training for a marathon in Vancouver, BC, scheduled for May 2, 2019. Additionally, I was averaging 250 Grouse Grinds per year (often referred to as the "natural stair master"). At 65 years old, I was in very good health for my age. Being able to complete the Grouse Grind in 35-40 minutes put me in the top 10% of all participants. However, in April 2019, I started taking Epclusa. To provide some background: I was diagnosed with Hepatitis C in 1973 in Ontario, Canada. After this diagnosis, I stopped using drugs and changed my lifestyle habits. Despite the fact that doctors and specialists confirmed I was in great shape, the Canadian Medical Association strongly recommended that I take Epclusa. This turned out to be a big mistake. Within one week of starting ...

Can I do light exercise while taking Ketek, I train for the world champs in Aug and is a cyclist ## Based on my own understanding of Ketek (Telithromycin), light exercising should be fine. I certainly wouldn't suggest going all out and over-training on it though, just because it's working with your body to fight an infection, which can take it's toll on your energy levels throughout the day. Other details I've found about this medication state the following: "You should start to feel better early in your treatment. Call your doctor if your condition does not improve while you are taking telithromycin. Take telithromycin until you finish the prescription, even if you feel better. If you stop taking telithromycin too soon or if you skip doses of telithromycin, your inf...

I am an Aloe vera wellness trainer. I am a male. I use Aloe vera leaves for cleaning of my genital, armpit for removing bad odor and bacteria supposed to be in the hair roots. Also, I recommend this for ladies to use this as a natural perfect cleaning-aid on periods, white discharge, vaginal dryness, vaginal itching etc. If any body interested or already using this, welcome to share, discuss plainly. ## I am afraid I cannot support this and must post information, no one should ever use anything on their genitalia that has not been specially formulated for use on such sensitive areas, or which has not been approved by a medical professional for such usage. The NIH warns that there is a risk of irritation, infections, and allergic reactions if one uses unapproved products. Regular soap an...

Eight years back, while commuting to my workplace (40 km's away) by a train, I suddenly got fatigued and caught a blackout while getting up from my seat. A friend of mine immediately rushed me to a nearby Doctor, who after checking my BP (180/120) prescribed Atenolol and some sedatives to me He said that I have to take Atenolol for whole life, and I am following the same. Will somebody guide me, whether I am doing the right thing or must I take a second opinion now after getting checked my heart's functioning. I don't have any trouble with my heart but if anyday due to oversight I forget to take the medicine, I feel uneasiness in my head. I feel I have become addictive to this drug. Please help. ## Hi Sanjit I have been on Atenolol for a month but no side effects to speak. I...
