Oxycodone + Naloxone Drug Index

Oxycodone/naloxone, sold under the trade name Targin and Targinact (in the UK) among others, is a combination pain medication. It is available as modified-release tablets and is taken by mouth. The oxycodone component is an opioid and is responsible for the pain-relieving effects. Naloxone opposes the effects of opioids but is poorly absorbed into the body when given orally, meaning almost all the dose stays within the gastrointestinal tract and reduces the local side effects from the oxycodo...

Is the nickname for U17 known also as a substitute for Percocets or is it's nickname known as substitute for Roxycet. Are there any variances ## They actually aren't nicknames, there are brand names and generic names. The brand name is a trade name given by the original manufacturer of a medication, and the generic name is the list of the actual ingredients. The generic name for Percocet is Oxycodone with APAP (Acetaminophen) and the generic name for Roxicet would just be Oxycodone, so yes, they are different. The tablet with the U17 marking is manufactured by Aurolife Pharma and they list it as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of APAP (Acetaminophen), so it is a generic for Percocet. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may caus...

I got some dark green small round pills with an M and 15 on the same side. Supposedly they are 15 mg oxy but the searches I've done show that a 15 mg oxy should be light green with M on one side and 15 on the other. I can't find anything with the imprint only on one side that looks like these so I am afraid to take them. Please help. ## I got dark green pill say m and the box is one the m and 30on it ## The only way you can both be sure that your pills are 100% legitimate is to have gotten them filled with your doctor's prescription at a licensed pharmacy. If this isn't the case and neither of your pills fit the proposed description of real Oxycodone by Mallinckrodt (the manufacturer who's trademark is an [M] inside a box on one side and a set of numbers on the other...

What drug companies make oxycodone er and what pharmacies in San Francisco,CA.? ## What drug companies produce oxycodone er; besides Purdue of course? Thanks so very much - Memphis1-13-2011 ## I am sorry, but the controlled release formulation of Oxycodone, which is sold under the trade name Oxycontin is only manufactured by Purdue Pharma, there are no longer any generics available on the market. Even the ones provided by the Ethex Corporation are manufactured by Purdue and carry the same marking, they are just an authorized distributor. As to what pharmacies carry it, in any given area, since I am not in those areas, I don't know. However, calling them will usually not get you the correct answer, because they have no way of knowing if the person on the phone is a legitimate custome...

Is there vicodin 5/325 or is it hyrocodone or oxycodone ## Hello, Ken! How are you? Vicodin is a trade name for Hydrocodone with Acetaminophen, so they are the same thing. Oxycodone is slightly stronger than Hydrocodone and when coupled with Acetaminophen, it's available in the same doses. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

What is the difference? My script reads "Percocet oral tablet 10-325 mg" and the pharmacy gives me IP 204 10-325 mg. ## Hello, Dona! How are you? There is no difference. Percocet is the trade name for a medication that contains Oxycodone and Acetaminophen, so your pharmacy has provided you with a generic manufactured by Amneal Pharmaceuticals. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I found some tablets in my yard They are blue oblong one side stamped OXN and other side number five can you tell me what they are ## Hello, Crystal! How are you? From what I've been able to find, this is a medication available under the trade name Targin, it contains 5mgs of Oxycodone and 2.5mgs of Naloxone (though this dosing is going by the most current information I can find and may not be totally accurate, if anything has changed since then!). The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Can anyone confirm this dosing?

Can anyone tell me a good pain doctor in Philadelphia. Looking for percocet 30s ## Hello, Networks son! How are you? There is no such thing as a Percocet 30. Percocet is a combination medication that contains Acetaminophen and Oxycodone, it is only available in a maximum dosage of 10mgs Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. Anything higher than that would most likely be just Oxycodone by itself, in either the time released formulation known by the trade name Oxycontin or the regular release formulation available under the trade name Roxicodone, as well as as a generic. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. pink, small circular chapped ## This is a generic controlled-release 20mg dose of Oxycodone HCL manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, used in the management of severe pain.
