I am 66 yrs, having essential hypertension since 1996. I started with Nuril2.5mg but the medicines had to be increased gradually to Amlopress, Telsar, Amlopress AT( though my pulse rate alaways been around 50-60pm). Now am taking Tide10mg, Arkamin thrice, Tozaar R5 twice, Amlopress AT, yet BP varies between 140/90 and 120/75. . I play tennis almost regularly but of late geting tired and out of breath soon. I am regularly taking the medicine Fenofibrate-145 mg for abnormal Lipids for the past 15 years Amitripile (Ami-25 mg) Alprazolam-1mg ( 15 years) Calcicard-20 mg for BP and added Tozaar-25. What is the difference between Tozaar H & Tozaar R? ## Tozaar-H contains the active ingredients Losartan and Hydrochlorothiazide, so it combines and ARB with a diuretic to help control high blood pressure and cardiac conditions. Tozaar-R combines the ARB Losartan with the ACE inhibitor Ramipril and is used to treat the same types of conditions. Side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, stomach pain and dehydration.

i am on steroids for ITP, had recently sepsis with multiple complications. Long standing type 2 diabetic with recurring UTI problems. Recently BP is touching 170/90. Doc advised Targit H., But BP is not getting controlled. Max it is coming down to 145/84. Can we take Tozaar-100

I am taking above medicines. BP is controlled. Before adding metolar XR50 about 3 months ago, My BP was 140/90 only for two days. My BP is getting very low. I am also diabetic taking zoreyl3, einselin2, glyciphage 6(500) mg. My sugar got low to 54. I stopped the medicines for diabetes as per dr for 2 days. Itake 75 mug thyroxine and t3 t4 TSH are well maintained. My pathological reports for kidney, chlorestal, HDL,LDL,Etc are within limits. ## Amlogard contains the active ingredient Amlodipine. I am suffering from DCM, diabetes, thyroid. I am taking ivanode, cardivas 10mg, tozaar 50, for cardiac problems. For diabetes I am taking glynase and glycomet sr 500 mg twice and mebaspa since 5 months to control loose stools as side effect of metformin. Also Eltroxin 25mcg. My cardiologist has prescribed nexito plus 5mg though I have no depression. I feel extreme daytime sleepiness and sleep for at least a couple or more hours in the daytime. Also gaining weight. My mom who is 66 years was on Tenoric 50 for past 8 years n her BP was normal. recently in August it went upto 180/110 n same time she started loosing her present memory. When consulted with neurologist he prescribed Tozaar 50 for BP along with other neuro related medicines. Still her BP was same despite having Tozaar for a month now. Yesterday we consulted GP n he prescribed PRAZOPRESS XL 2.5 at night & ERI TEL-CH 40 for day. Since morning she is complaining of heavy head n dizziness. treatment for hypertension ## Is there any posibilty of elevated blood potassim level for the person using the Losar H Tablet for BP ## it is good to take a lifezar losartan after exercise and it is best to take in morning or lunch ## using tozaar-h .for more than five years .what are the common side effects ..for how long we can use. i am 32 years .i am using it since 5 years ## received losartan potassium pill that were orange or pink. SUFFERING FROM BLOODPRESSURE AND HEART TROUBLE ## Sir, I am having high blood pressure since 1996. Started with Nuril 2.5mg, the dose had to be incresed from time to time as the BP increased. Now I am taking Arkamin(Clonidine 100 mg) thrice + Tide 10(Torsemide) once+Tozaar R 5 twice + Amlopress AT once a day, yet the BP varies between 120 / 80 and 150 /90. I have enlarged prostrate for last 5 yrs. In Sonography its size varied from 22 to 44 gms. Recently I have started very urgent urge to urinate, though quantity of urine is not much. I do not find difficulty in passing urine though. I am also having high blood pressure fro which I am taking Amlopress AT, Tozaar R-5 , Arkamin thrice, and Tide 10 mg. i am suffering from grade 1 nerpro treatment . i am takaing tozaar 50 and amlong a tablet my creatinine is 1.4 whether i have to change the tablet to reduced the creatinine to 1.1

Whether Tozaar 50 and Amlosafe 5 medicines are easily available to purchase in New Delhi, India. These are anti hypertension drugs.
