I started topamax 25 mg 5 days ago as a mood stabilizer. I gained 80+ lbs from previous ones and antidepressants. I had no side effects until this morning I woke up feeling nauseous. I haven't been able to smoke a cigarette at all today and my stomach has been in severe cramps since I ate a sandwich about three hours ago. I feel as though I could vomit. I also noticed I am urinating more frequently even though I haven't increased my water intake (I always drink a lot). My question is, is e weightless going to come as a result of this stomach pain and not being able to eat? Will the stomach pain subside? I'm supposed to go up to 50mg in two days. i have been using topomax since november 2010 for neuropathy pain. i had the typical side affects of facial numbness, tingling, flat taste of any carbonated drink and the best of all side effect was my 32 lb. weight loss and counting. since then i have been prescribed the medicine for bipolar along with cymbalta which also works great for my neuropothy. these two medications together seem to be the best cocktail for my pain and my bipolar. i have been on many different meds. in my adult life and none of them have given me the results that these two have. so for those of you that are thinking of getting off of topomax before you allow the side effects to go away, i would suggest that you at least hang in there for a few weeks to see if the good results outweigh the bad side effects. i al...

I went to a unknown dentist to me I had my upper denture relined.. it hurt as soon as The dentist put in my mouth.. he has a lab, so took it there.. put back in my mouth ..it felt little better.. while eating dinner .. gums started hurting her very bad.. I was recently prescribed Topiramate 25mg tablet to aid in post-concussion. After taking 1 pill last night, I am experiencing sharp chest pains, feeling like a bad case of heartburn. I recently had transposition of ulnar nerve, about a month ago. I am in horrible, chronic pain. Neurontin does not seem to be working. My pain management dr mentioned Topamax. How do I deal with this constant nerve pain. It is in my left hand, little finger and ring finger. ## I am very sorry about what you're dealing with, nerve pain is terrible. What is your current dose of Neurontin? You might do better with the Topomax, if your doctor thinks you should try it. It does work well for many people. Hi, I'm a single 45 year old frisked with fibromyalgia, depression, and chronic neck and back pain. Now constant, pelvic pain. I've had ultrasounds and a ct scan. It showed a rather small uterine fibroid. This question is asked all the time, HOW can I get prescribed pain meds?? My pain is not psychosomatic!! I am a 36 yr old woman that has suspected that I have RA for over 15 yrs. I finally went to see a rheumatologist last year in November. She ordered x rays for my hands, feet, and jaw/upper spine. Found out that the top 4-5 vertebrae in my neck are fused together, which now explains the severe lack of mobility and severe pain I've had in my neck for 15+ yrs.
