very bad panic attacks have had a recent death in the family going through a divorce anxiety depression also have a chronic disease. ## Hello, Renee! How are you? There is no such thing as a Xanax doctor and there is no listing of doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe that I can refer to for you. Technically, it can be prescribed by any licensed medical doctor, however, due to some new regulations that were put in place this year in order to try to cut down on improper prescribing and over prescribing, general practitioners and surgeons have new guidelines to follow regarding what they can prescribe. Thus, in most cases you'll need to see a specialist to be prescribed a medication such as this. Do you currently have PCP that could refer you to someone? ## My name... ...

Unless there is some medical reason that makes it dangerous for you to take Suboxone, such as being allergic to the Naloxone or pregnant, a doctor is going to want you to go with Suboxone. There is a search engine on the website that you can use to look for doctors in you area that treat with it. Suboxone.com click here, you can search by zip code and their contact information will be included to see if they are accepting new patients. Anyone going to a good pain doctor in Memphis that is taking new patients. I am on disability and my wife and I both have r.a. The Dr. we have been seeing for over 10 years has cut our pain meds. TN-need help to find doctor for xanax

live between knoxville and chattanooga need to find a doctor to prescribe xanax ---thank you for any help ## It can be prescribed by any doctor with a valid medical license, it does not require a specialist. The problem, however, generally arises when you go to a new doctor and start asking for or insisting on certain medications. It raises a lot of red flags for the doctors. Especially since Xanax, which contains Alprazolam is a very potent Benzodiazepine and is highly addictive in nature. Do you have your medical records? Have you had them transferred to a new doctor? ...

I'm looking for a doctor who accepts Medicaid and will prescribe me xanax & Prozac. I've been on xanax for several years now and I was seeing a TN doctor. Well that doctor's office told me they no longer accept KY Medicaid, without any notice until I arrived for my appointment. Needless to say I was very upset. I suffer from anxiety and depression both, and I'm having trouble finding a doctor who will continue my medications. I was referred to the mental health center, I saw a psychologist, who set me up with an appointment with a psychiatrist by the name of Dr. Grey. Unfortunately, the earliest they could get me in is January 12, 2015. If you experience withdrawals, a local emergency treatment facility will be able to help you, but otherwise it's likely that you'll just have to wait until your doctor is open tomorrow. Need to find a pain doc that write roxycoden, I've tried alot of other pain meds and.roxys are the only way i.get pain releaf ## If you truly have a diagnosed condition, that can be assessed by CT scans, MRI's, lab findings, or other devices such as ultrasound, then you probably do need a Schedule Two narcotic. In receiving a Schedule two, the mindset now is that you will probably be on them for an extended period of your life. In the past, in order to make patients comfortable, doctors were prescribing medications like OxyContin, Roxicodone, Duragesic Patches, etc. for pain alleviation. If you are having sporadic or afflictions that cannot be measured scientifically, then the chances of getting a CII are limited. Even hydrocodone CIII, is coming under scrutiny. I injured my back in 2003 and then bad car wreck in 2005 was on pain pills but seen to abuse then after 3yrs. Got on suboxon it works great but my doctor that work it for pain management retired so 7 had to go to a suboxone clinic and they want to keep taking me down in my dose when i am maintaining just fine with pain. ## Hello, Julie! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problems that you're having. Yes, it is normal for the Suboxone doctor to want to taper you down, after a period of time, because that is what they are supposed to do, since they treat addiction, not pain. It is in the FDA guidelines for such treatment. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and con... ...

Why Have Doctors In Memphis Tn Stopped Writing Pain Meds
3 Replies RSS
why have doctors in memphis tn stopped prescribing pain meds? ## Based on what's been going on lately in the pharmaceutical world, my guess is that most of the rudimentary doctors have become reluctant to "over-prescribe" narcotics, because they fear that they will loose their licenses upon doing so. The same thing appears to be happening in parts of Florida. Does anyone have some extra insight on this? ## You are spot on, this is true in all 50 states, and, intensified with the so-called, "OxyContin Express" Unfortunately, out of state patients, driving from West Virginia, Tennessee, and Kentucky especially, to Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties in South Fla, about 3 years ago, before, Florida passed legislation, to join the Prescription Monitoring Program.
