I have been suffering from anxiety (along with some sort of epileptic fit disorder that seems to be baffling physicians ...for whatever reason.) also, i get Very tired during the day. to the point where i could fall asleep (almost) anywhere. I (obviously) don't, but being that tired is VERY irritating to say the least. I start taking Nuvigil 150 mg tablet tomorrow, and I am some-what worried about side affects this medication may have on someone (me) who had anxiety and gets easily "worked up" via "uppers" ## I certainly see your concern regarding anxiety, since Armodafinil (Nuvigil) is a stimulant-like drug. From what I could gather, the most commonly reported side effects were headache, nausea, dizziness, and insomnia. But you can view more specific details in the ...

I have been prescribed 25MG of Metoprolol Tart 2X a day for a few years now, don't know exactly when I started, but at first I thought I was somewhat tired, but recently I am very tired and have no mental focus, I even had a co-worker say that I look tired and just this morning my hairdresser said the same. I have been trying to eat a better diet and taking more vitamins, but I am even more tired. Maybe I am finally feeling the side affects and my body is saying no to this medication? I experimented recently with supplements to get my BP down and I found taking magnesium really helped. I would like to get off this medication! ## Have you consulted your doctor and what have your BP levels been? The tiredness could be from the medication, or it could be due to several other reasons, s...

I take the pill at night and currently only a half pill and will start taking a full pill next week. Will the tiredness eventually go away? I can't function like this everyday. ## Hello, Nugget! How are you? Yes, it should taper off, after about 4 to weeks, once your body adjusts to the medication, but it will most likely recur for awhile any time you raise the dosage. You may also experience headache and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Hello, I am a 35 year old (who is in perimenopause) female who has suffered from OCD for most of her life. I just started taking Vyvanse 2 months ago, and I feel really good taking it. Of course I started out on the 30mg of Vyvanse, then my doctor put me on 70mg because the pharmacy didn't carry 60mg Vyvanse at the time I wanted to get on them. Now I am on 60 mg of Vyvanse instead of 70, and I wanted to know if it takes a while for my body to get use to the 60 mg dose? I feel really good after I take it at 8 am, but around 2 pm or so I start feeling tired like I need a nap. I use to be on Adderall XR until I started have really bad side effects, so I am not familiar with the Vyvanse. ## Hello, David! How are you feeling? Of course it is going to have an affect if you were taking 70mgs, then suddenly dropped down to 60mgs, but yes, your body will adjust in a week or two. But, if you conti...

I have been experiencing joint and muscle aches. Also a loss of memory and totally can't smell. Also things don't taste as good. I am on neurontin as well. That maybe together with eliquis is causing this lethargic and dizzy feeling. I had a really bad cough. I went into AFIBULATION and that is the reason for all these meds. ## Hi I Have Been Taking Eliquis For About A Week Now. What Will Happen If I Can't Take It ## Those can be normal side effects of Eliquis, as reported by the FDA. You may also experience headache, increased risk of bleeding and easy bruising. Michelle, you should take it, as long as your doctor directs you to do so. If you don't like the way it affects you, you could speak to them about possibly trying a different medication. Since starting Eliquis two weeks ago I have been gaining weight and experiencing extreme tiredness. I discontinued Coumadin, after three tears for a PE as it was not able to be regulated. Any thoughts ? ## Hello, Dennis! How are you? Those are typical side effects of Eliquis, as listed by the FDA, you may also experience nausea, headache, increased risk of bleeding and easy bruising. There have been quite a few posts about it. Sadly, no medications are side effect free. However, they do tend to be transient and should taper off, once your body gets used to the medication, which may take about 4 to 6 weeks. If they don't, then you should speak to your doctor. Is there anything else I can help with?

How are you feeling? Have things improved, yet? What dosage were they? I'm sorry, but the color doesn't actually mean anything. Are they prescribed for you? Taking 4 might have been an overdose. For the past two years my TSH levels have ranged form 9.8 to 4.9 and the dr. did not want to put me on a lifetime medication. Today is my 5th full day of Belviq and I am exhausted. I'm tired and a little dizzy all day, but at night I seem to have trouble falling asleep - but once asleep I am out cold.
