How is this different from Tinactin? ## Hi John, Based on my research, Tinactin and Clarus-Antifungal solution both contain 1% of the same active ingredient Tolnaftate. The only difference would be the "inactive" ingredients used. Both of these anti-fungals come in cream form but from what I can gather, only Tinactin comes in an aerosol spray and powder formulation. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Tinactin Details I hope this helps! Please post back if you have any more questions.
1 REPLY Filed under TinactinIs it safe to use tolnaftate after its expired? ## Is it safe to use tolnoftate after one month of expiration date? ## I used 11 years old expired (yes, thats not a typo) spray tinactin (expired 2005, its 2016) continuously for multiple weeks without any negative things happening. Its hard to say if it was helping my athlete's foot though. ## Mine is 10 years old.. I'm using it and it seems to be working a little. ## Hello Govezy, From what I have read on the manufacturer's website it should be safe to use the expired tolnaftate but it has no guarantee of performing as intended. It seems that the expiration date is an estimate of how long the powder/cream/spray will be able to maintain optimal effectiveness. I would advise that you simply get a new one if you would like it t...

2 REPLIES Filed under NP-27I have been told that Asorbine Horse Ligament is also good for human back pain and other ailments. is this true and where can I get this? ## There are human formulations of Absorbine on the market, you can find it in most pharmacies. ## There is a difference between Asorbine and Absorbine. Asorbine has the same ingredient as Tinactine foot spray. Absorbine is for muscles etc. on humans and horses. ## Yes! They are the same. I have used Absorbine liniment for horses for over 30 years. Why? Because I have horses and after a long weekend of showing I would apply to my horses and decided to use it on myself. It works wonders. I use a lot of horse products on myself. Hoofmaker for nails and Mane & Tail shampoo and conditioner. Yep, I used this before people began using it on their hair. ...
