Is Vesicare timed release, I have 10mg pills I want to cut in half. ## Hello, Brenda! How are you? No, you cannot cut these tablets, the FDA does include a warning that they must be swallowed whole, not broken, chewed, cut or crushed. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and blurry vision. Is there anything else I can help with?

Time Release B-50 Drug Index

B vitamins are a class of water-soluble vitamins that play important roles in cell metabolism and synthesis of red blood cells.[1] Though these vitamins share similar names (B1, B2, B3, etc.), they are chemically distinct compounds that often coexist in the same foods.[1] In general, dietary supplements containing all eight are referred to as a vitamin B complex. Individual B vitamin supplements are referred to by the specific number or name of each vitamin, su...

my wife takes one 20mg lexapro at bedtime. She feels better at the time before going to bed than when she wakes up in the morning. would changing the medication to a time released aprazolam give her a more level relief from anxiety throughout the day and therefore have her feel better when she wakes up as opposed to taking lexapro or the regular aprazolam ## What has her doctor advised? You are talking about 2 different classed of medications here, an antidepressant and a Benzodiazepine, so they work differently. How long has she been on the Lexapro?

How long does it take for op 20 to take effect? It's time released but 3 hrs later I felt nothing. What's wrong? ## Since it is time released, it is slowly released into your body over a 12 hour period to help achieve longer periods of better pain relief. What were you expecting to feel? Is it helping your pain, at all? The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.

how do they work ## There are several different methods that companies can use to make a medication time released. I just learned that a friends, yes seriously a friend, has for the last nine days taken a half of a 15mg extended relief morphine every day and was planning to intermittently take a whole one to hopefully avoid withdrawal. My friend is doing this because my friend is going on vacation and his prescription becomes due during the time he is away. Our state has instituted "drug contracts" with the prescribing doctor and pharmacy for people using these types of drugs. This means he can not have it filled early to take with him, and his doctors office has rules about calling for the script 48 hours maximum before it is due. He was only trying to make it last so he would not be in as much pain and not go through withdrawal. I was concerned because I know you are not supposed to cut an...

How can you tell if a pill is time released or not. The pill identifier doesn't say. I have 2 strengths of hydrocodone acetaminophen. One is 10/500 and the other is 5/500. Lost directions and don't have the doctor anymore. I can't swallow pills and want to crush and put in applesauce to take. One pill is 3600V pink and oblong, the other is white with a line down the middle and a V in the back. Forgot the numbers on that one. Thanks! ## There is no time released formulation of the Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone combination, they are all regular release formulations. Learn more Vicodin details here. The tablet with the 3600 V marking is the 10mg/500mg tablet. I can provide you with any specifics on the other, since you didn't provide the markings from it. Can you check the ...

Is there such a thing as 40mg and 60mg time release lortab ## Lortab is a combination medication that contains the narcotic Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen, so no, it is only available with a maximum of 10mgs of the Hydrocodone. Learn more about Lortab Details here. There is a medication undergoing the testing and approval process that would solely contain the Hydrocodone, but even if it is approved, it is unlikely that it will be available in such high dosages. Are there any other questions?

I work for Actavis the company that manufactures these and with 100% certainty the yellow R039 are not time release, instant release only. Hope this helps ## According to the U.S. National Library of Medicine, these yellow R039 by Actavis are in fact generic 2mg Alprazolam (IR) tablets. For verification, the National Drug Code is 00228-2039; and if you follow the NDC link there's also an image of the said tablet. Just for the record, 2mg Alprazolam ER tablets reportedly carry a National Drug Code of 0603-2133. Hope this helps! ## What about the taste should it be super bitter or not really at all cuz I ran across a batch like that before if sealed bottle but they just seemed weaker and had not much of a taste ## Actavis is not putting even minimum amount of xanex in their meds. Usually take Percent 10mg and this time was given round Pink pill with N P 12, I've had a number of serious knee and leg surgeries and I've been taking for two days and I'm not feeling very well, stomach is upset and feeling nauseous but not to bad. Is this extended release? It was prescribed every 4-6 hours, is that right? Is this the same Medicine? I'm worried I was given the wrong Meds, but looking it up it does not seem different. Any information would be greatly appreciated. ## This tablet is manufactured by Zydus Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone, so you have received the correct medication, it's the regular release formulation and they typical dosing schedule. I take morphine 60 mg 2 at a time it has a m on one side 60 on other. I know it's extended release but how much do u get at a time and how long does it last? Plus I can take 5 to 6 30 mgs of oxycodone at a time so how many morphines do I need to equal that? ## Hello, I believe that the absorption rate of any medication is determined by weight and other factors that only your doctor can asses. Is 5 to 6 (30 mg) Oxycodone pills what your doctor prescribed to you? I'm not exactly sure how many grams of Oxycodone will equal 2 (60 mg) Morphine pills, however I do know that Oxycodone is 1.5 times stronger than Morphine. I hope that information is of help to you in some way. If you are considering changing your medication, I recommend that you pay a visit to your doctor.

I don't understand, if a pill is 60mg time-released, what's the problem with cutting it? If you get all the med at once you will only get 60mg right? What am I missing? ## Hi Sanaa, To my understanding, it's simply a word of caution to those who may be at risk of overdosing on something their body hasn't yet built a tolerance to (namely when it comes to pain medication, although it could pertain to any drug). Personally, I'd never advise doing so without talking to your doctor or pharmacist first, as there may be immediate-release options available in smaller doses. However, I do see your point and think that if this was a last resort option one can mitigate possible risk factors under the right conditions (i.e. having a high tolerance, etc). Of course, if you ask mo...

What exactly time released mean ## It means exactly what it says, rather than all of the medication being released at once, when you take the medication, it is slowly released over several hours. It can be particularly useful for various medical problems, such as pain, diabetes and high blood pressure, to give someone better control over their conditions, for a longer period of time. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thanks for the information !!!
