Time Release Percocet 10mg

My doctor has switched me from Percocet 5/325 X2 Every four hours to oxycodine 10mgs but Sometimes they make me feel really sick and sleepy. I can be nauseated and sleeping at work. Hi, I am prescribed oxycodone HCL 10mg. This medicine helps a lot with my chronic pain but this time when I received my medicine it had this kind in my bottle; the ones with the np and 12 on it. My primary dr has me on 10 mg percocet, 2 every 4 hrs for chronic/severe leg pain but it has lost it's effectiveness. I have appt w/pain mgt clinic on the 18th for the 1st time and am hoping they rx something stronger & definitely something that lasts longer. My doctor put me on the morphine to try to wean me down from taking 4 percocets to 3. I took my first morphine at midnight - and I still feel pretty good 10 hours later. My question is, how is the morphine released into my blood stream? i.e. do I feel relief immediately - or 45 mins later and then every 1/2 hour or so more is released? Maybe this benefit of 10 to 12 hours relief will dissipate over the next few days to lasting only 5-6 hours? Are this the same class meds? Same family? ## Yes, they both contain the narcotic Oxycodone. The difference is that the Percocet combines it with Acetaminophen, in the dose you mentioned it's 10mgs with 325mgs of Acetaminophen and it's a regular release formulation, while the Oxycontin contains 40mgs of Oxycodone, by itself, in a 12 hour time released formulation. Does it have the marking M 30 on it? If so, then what you have is just Oxycodone, by itself, in a regular release formulation, which is the generic for Roxicodone. Other than green or light green is there such a thing as a white 15mg percocet? ## There is no Percocet available that contains 15mgs of anything, it is only available with a maximum of 10mgs of the Oxycodone. A 15mg tablet would just be one that contains Oxycodone and it is available in the time released formulation under the name brand Oxycontin and in the regular released formulation which is available under the brand name Roxicodone, as well as a generic. Out of curiosity what is stronger Percocet 7.5 (325 mg) or Oxycodone 10 mg Immediate Release (IR)? I know the only difference between these two is one has Acetaminophen and one doesn’t.
