Oxy 30 Mg Timed Release Capsule Shaped Red
are they better, are they only orally taken ## There is no capsule shaped, red, time released Oxycodone on the U.S. market. It is only available as the name brand and the 30mg tablet is a round, brown tablet, with either an OC, or an OP on one side and the number 30 on the other. What are the markings on the tablet you have? And yes, all such tablets should only be taken orally. ...

oxycontin op 30 mg
iv been takeing oxycontin30mg with oc on them this time i got oxycontin30with op on them they seem to make me sick what is the differnce. ## Oxycontin OP is brand new to the market and is replacing the regular Oxycontin. The only difference is that the Oxycontin OP has been specially formulated to help prevent abuse. Even if someone tries to crush or chew it, it will retain its time released properties. Otherwise, it works the same and has the same side effects: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I am not certain why it would be making you sick, as compared to the other ones, have you tried contacting your doctor or pharmacist about it? ## the new pill u are now getting is a new formula of the old oc and is supposed to be tamper proof so people cant snort, shoot, smoke them a... ...

What oxycodone dose is equal to 120 30mg morphine instant release monthly?
I currently take 20mg methadone twice a day with MSIR 30mg tabs 4 daily=120 total. I am trying to find which dose of oxycodone would be the equivalant of my current dose of Morphine IR. Its been VERY hard filling that script for approx 6 months now and is getting worse. So one option is switching to another medication. Some of the problem is that medicine isnt used as much as it once was. My monthly appt w/ nuerologist is in 2 weeks...so please answer this ASAP Also if any brand names are know thats fine...my insurance will prob substitute generic but brand names help when talking to doctors. Thanks everyone!!! ## You would need 20mgs of Oxycodone to equal each 30mgs of Morphine. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such a... ...

Op 30 Pill
can i split one in half or quarter ## No, it is not safe to cut and divide these tablets. This is a 30mg Oxycontin tablet, which contains the narcotic Oxycodone in a time released formulation. Cutting or breaking the tablet could result in your getting too much of the medication, at once, which could result in overdose. The new formulation is supposed to help prevent this, but the danger is always there. If you need a lower dosage, you should speak to your doctor about prescribing it in a lower dose or different formulation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## It is only safe to cut an oxycontin (op) inhalf if it is a 20mg or less cause cause the most a person should intake of instance release is 10mg unless said different from.doctor... due to case of overdose.. OP are not inten... ...

oxycodone 30 mg IR soon in PHX,AZ
been taking oxyco 30 mg IR. Misplaced. Cant refill till end of October. What can be done about this? {edited for privacy} ## Hello, Butch! Sorry about the problem you've run into. If you can't refill until the end of October, you must have just gotten it filled. Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do. No pharmacy can give you another fill on it. Learn more Oxycodone details here. There is no 30mg OxyIR, that's only available in a 5mg capsule. Did you mean the regular release 30mg that is a generic for Roxicodone? Your only option for a solution would be to try to explain what happened to your doctor and see if they will prescribe something else, or a different dosage, in the meantime. ## 30 mill ir oxycodone does exist, i take it, have been for a few years. ## I would un... ...

Oxycontin OP 60 mg vs Oxymorphone ER
Just switched over from oxy 30mg instant release 6x daily to oxycontin 60mg with 2 30mg IR for breakthrough. Been on this for a long time. I find that I'm very disappointed with the oxycontin 60 it seems to only last 5 hours at the most and I have many breakthrough pains during that period of time. I've heard of oxymorphone ER and want to know if this would be better for me due to opioid tolerance. If anybody can give me opinions on this please do. Thanks. ## First off, the 30mg that you're taking cannot be instant release tablets, the instant release is only available in a 5mg capsule. If you're taking 30mg tablets, then they have to be the regular release formulation, which is a generic for Roxicodone. Learn more Roxicodone details here. And the Oxycontin just doesn... ...

Oxy Ir 60mg Oxycodone
what color do these pills look like? ## There is no 60mg of the instant release Oxycodone, it is only available in 5mgs. There is a time released tablet in 60mgs, called Oxycontin, which would have the marking OC or OP on one side and a 60 on the opposite side. The tablets should be red. This is a potent narcotic, so it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## there is oxycontin 30mg instant release but that is as high as instant release goes. ## oxycodone does not just come in 5mgs. They also come in 10s 15s, 20s, and 30s. I know cause I've had all of them within the last year. I suffer from chronic pancreatitis. Oxycodone does not come in 60mgs. Oxycontin 40 Mg Capsule
Im perscribed OC 40 mg. with the OP on the market the OC became the generic Oxycodone 40 mg. The question is there is Oxycontin 40 mg in capsules. Basicly is that equal to the Oxycodone 40 without the buffer in it ## There is no generic for Oxycontin, both the one with the OC and the one with the OP marking are made by Purdue, they just reformulated to help prevent abuse and discontinued manufacturing the original that had the OC marking. Oxycontin contains Oxycodone in a time released formulation. As to the other formulations, no, there is none available in a 40mg dosage. The immediate release capsule is only available in a 5mg dosage and the regular release tablets are only available in a maximum dosage of 30mgs. Is there anything else I can help with? ...

Is Op 80mg Stronger Then A 30mg Perk
is a 80mg op stronger then a 30mg perk ## The OP, as you call them are Oxycontin, which is a time released formulation of Oxycodone and, in this case, that would be an 80mg dosage. Percocet contains a combination of Oxycodone and Acetaminophen and it is only available with a maximum of 10mgs of the Oxycodone, there is no 30mg dosage of it available. Are there any other questions or comments? ## Hi Mickey, I know what u r talking about. The op 80 is stronger. They r just time released . Where as the 30s, will release at once. ...

30 Mg Oxycodone just got script today and have questions
I just got put on the oxycodone 30mg and at my next visit I am then getting put on oxycontin. But we r trying to figure out which strength would b appropriate. If I take one 30mg oxycodone every 4 hours what do u think would b the appropriate strength for the oxycontin? ## Based on a number of user reviews I've come across, people have been saying that the primary difference between Oxycodone and Oxycontin is that oxycontin is a time-released version of oxycodone; possibly making it better for patients who need long term pain management (versus acute short-term pain). These users also state that the dosage strength is pretty equal between the two, although I'm sure this varies for each individual. An opinion from another patient suggests that the time-released oxycontin may not ... ...

the old oxys were better when on the new ones it got worse why change it?on opana er 30's was onoxy 60s opana DOES NOTHING WHY? ## what does a roxi 224 look like ## Opana contains the active ingredient Oxymorphone and it is very effective for some people, but like any medication, it doesn't work for everyone. Have you tried talking to your doctor to see what else you can try? If the new Oxycontin formulation isn't working for you, perhaps you should try MS Contin? It is a form of time released Morphine. The 30mg Oxycodone pill with the marking 224 on it should be round and blue, with the 224 on one side. It is a generic for Roxicodone, which is a regular release formulation. Op 30 Can You Take Half
Can you take only half of a OP 30 pill? ## No, they are time released formulations of Oxycodone, so cutting it in half could result in too much of the medication being released at once and may cause an overdose. Learn more Oxycontin details here. Are there any other comments or questions? ...

Oxycodone/Michigan/Doctors?/Guidelines
I'm a cronic pain patient going on 10 Years. I have had multiple surgeries on my lower back. I have been prescribed Oxycodone 30mgs up to as many as #240 a month -As low as #90 a month depending on which Dr. I was seeing at the time. This has been extended over a 5 yr period. I do not misuse, sell, give or abuse my medication In any way. I work a very labor intensive job with heavy machinery daily and have found other drugs such as: fentynal duragesic patches, morphine, dilaudid, methadone and Opana to greatly reduce awareness and complicate an already complicated job due to side effects. Now, I'm on Morphine #120 mgs a day.. both immediate and long acting release.. and can't function due to drowsiness and a "head in the clouds " type of feeling. At work, I have notice... ...
