I wouId appreciate some feedback on anyone's experience with taking Valium time released capsules. I'm desperately needing relief from my extreme anxiety conditions. ## It is called ValRelease and works just like other benzodiazepines or other forms of Valium, except it is slow released over time to help keep your symptoms under better control. Can anyone that's actually taken it chime in? The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability.

My embeda fell into water. I dried as much of it as I could and left it on a paper towel to dry. Is it safe to take? The capsules don't look like they've been in water. ## If it was just plain water, that won't make it dangerous, but some of it may have dissolved, already, so it may not be as effective. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. It is, however, always best to double check with a medical professional, and of course, in the the future keep it away from liquids. Is there anything else I can help with?

I recently had my script filled. My capsules were full when i checked my pills. A few days later i noticed the capsules are not full anymore. Never noticed this with previous refills. Bottles are stores properly. Any suggestions or should i take them to pharmacy and ask ## Hello, Traci! How are you? Some settling of the contents may have occurred. That is normal, just like with boxes of cereal and etc. If no one has touched them to tamper with them, then there's nothing to worry about. The FDA classifies this medication as a stimulant that's used to aid in weight loss. It carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability and anorexia. Is there anything else I can help with?

Is it normal to have 4 little white pills inside the capsules? When my friend was taking her meds she found little white pills with her capsules and when she broke a capsule open, she found 4 little white pills inside the capsule. Is there supposed to be these in there or is there supposed to be beads inside? ## If she is taking the extended release, they must be taken whole, not broken open. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. What are the markings on the capsules she is taking?

I have been on this medication for three days and today I have had a headache all day. Is this normal and can I take something for the headache? ## Yes, most medications can cause headaches as a side effect, according to FDA, with this medication you may also experience nausea, dizziness, and stomach pain. As to what you can take, that depends on what medication you want to use, there are many on the market, so I can't check for interactions for all of them. Can you please post back and clarify which one, or ones, you usually take? Thank you!

what are these pills taken for ## Hi John, I'm assuming you're referring to "lipo diet pills capsules", as I couldn't find any prescription medications that fit this name. The manufacturer Nutrex Research, developed these fat burner pills with what they call 'Multi-Phase Technology', that releases the pills contents in various time intervals for an extended or sustained release effect. This is supposed to set them apart from many of their competitor's. I've actually tried them before and have had good success with implementing them into my diet and exercise in the past. I don't take supplements anymore, but if I chose any, this would come to mind. There's plenty of reviews and more detailed information about this product all over google, but p...

As you probably know, the manufacturers have temporarily stopped producing the above & believe they will re-commence sometime in quarter 4 of this year. My doctors have tried me on Half Securon Verapamil Slow Release & most recently Slozem Diltiazem Hydrochloride - I feel sick as a dog with the latter - hot flushes, lack of appetite & worst of all a feeling like I have a bad stomach with a knot as though I have eaten something bad. Drs now saying I probably have stomach ulcers but I'm very sure it's the Slozem as it only started when I took Slozem. Do you know any alternatives closer to Univer Verapamil Prolonged/Release Capsules in their make-up, please? I seem to get no where with doctors & have been waiting 3 months for a hospital pharmacist to look at this sa...

Not sure what they are for. ## How long does it take for diltia XT 180mg to leave your system and side effects to subside? ## My doctor started me on Diltiazem HCL time released beads 240/CP24 in January of 2012. Over time the meds continued to make me dizzy and the headaches would come and go. My doctor said it was my body adjusting to my blood pressure. My BP went down but not as much as I wanted. My insurance plan covers this med so I don't have to pay for it. On 3/24/11 was not feeling well because of the headaches and dizziness so I went to the ER. The ER doc asked me why I was taking Diltiazem......I told her that's what my doctor prescribed. My heart is fine. After checking me out she prescribed Hydralazine 10 mg and I was discharged. Took them the next day and there were...

Is 20 mg oxycodone time release or not and how can I tell ## If you're prescribed it, there will be an ER on the bottle, what color is the pill and are there any #'s on it? ## The only time released Oxycodone available in the U.S. is the brand name Oxycontin, which has either an OC or an OP on the tablet and would have a 20 on the other and is pink. If that is not what you have, then you have a regular release formulation that is a generic for Roxicodone. Here's a link to learn more Oxycodone details for anyone that may need it. There is also an instant release, but it is only available in 5mg capsules. What are the markings on the tablet you're asking about?

This medicine is so expensive, and for 1 month I have used and it is very effective. No side effects. Iis there an alternative? ## Hello, Marci! How are you? I'm sorry about the expense. Yes, there are some alternatives available that may be cheaper. You could ask your doctor about trying Vesicare or Enablex. However, they aren't exactly the same, so there is chance that they may cause you to experience some side effects, which the FDA lists as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and blurry vision. Does this medication have the potential for addiction and abuse? ## Amrix (cyclobenzaprine) is a potent pain killer which works by supressing the central nervous system. It has an additive effect with alcohol, and long half life which means high risk for overdose. This drug is very dangerous and should not be used other than how prescribed. ## I'm sorry, but that is not correct. Amrix does contain the active ingredient Cyclobenzaprine, but it is just a muscle relaxant, it is used to help treat the muscle pain that's associated with sprains, strains and spasms. Thus, it is not a potent pain killer and it isn't known to be addictive or have a high risk of overdose. Learn more Cyclobenzaprine details here. Supposed to b oxycontin?? 20 mg. its a purplr/gray capsule with = = on it,what is it? ## Oxycontin is a time released formulation of Oxycodone and it's only available as a tablet. The only one available in a capsule is a 5mg instant release and it doesn't meet this description or have that type of logo on it. Where did you get it? Who told you it was Oxycontin? Based on your description, I am more prone to believe that it's an over the counter product, of some type. I just wanted to add that my doctor also said you can not take all medicines out of their capsules as it can be very dangerous to do this with certain drugs but I was fine doing this with amoxicillin. Always check with your doctor or pharmacy beforehand. I would imagine you could transfer into a veggie capsule. ## Hello, Sharon! How are you? Yes, you are correct and so were your doctors, but to clarify for anyone curious, the difference lies between whether or not a medication is time released. If it is, then opening the capsules, or crushing the tablets could defeat the time release and may result in your getting too much medication at once, which could result in an overdose. And some medications, such as high potency potassium supplements can be very, very harsh on the stomach, so the...

Hello Everyone Just wanted to let you all know that you need to be aware of fake Orlistat pills being offered for sale as generics to Alli. I bought what I thought were generic Alli 120mg but was sent blue capsules filled with a white powder instead. I know for a fact that the active ingrediant in Alli (Orlistat), is actually small white bead-type drug. So, what is this powder? Only God knows! I've written my letter of complaint to the on-line pharmacy concerned, but no reply. I will see about getting my money back. ## Sorry to hear about your experience when ordering this medication. However, it is important to note that not all manufacturers are going to use the same manufacturing process when making any given medication. Rather than the bead type, they may use a different release...
