Took 120mg of morphine 10/12/12.Have UA on 10/17/12. The urine in the overnight container is very dark. During the day it appears to be the normal color. Broke my small toe 8 days ago and didn't see a doctor. Could there be an infection there being filtered by my kidneys? ## It's very difficult for anyone to try and guess what's going on from just the limited information in this post. I need to know if tests with instant ua cup results or lab testing can tell if ive been taking it as prescribed? ive been taking them for a month 1 every 12 hours except for a few days here and there ive had to take 1 more then prescribed because of very bad back pain. i know hydro/norco"s are in your system for 2-4 days but what about having taken them for a month? will my levels be higher and would they be able to tell i didnt wait the full 12 hours before taking another pill? Because 12 hours is a VERY long time when norcos half life peak is at 1.3 hours and are no longer helping pain after 4 hours. Xanax is one of the shortest acting bezos there is, if not the shortest. So please stop saying its in your system for more then a week; it is highly unlikely it would show up after a week. Other bezos; like valium, yes, it can show up for weeks, or month if you are a chronic user. So dont look at a chart and say oh benzos are detectable for 1-6 weeks; It makes a difference on what you take; xanax should be out fairly quick; in my experience, I would like to give it a week; but I have passed in the 48-72hr range; just don't push it. ## Standard scientific testing shows that all Benzodiazepines can be detected in urine tests for as long as 6 weeks, after last use. I am taking 40 mg oxyneos andpercocets but my urine tests are negative . Why? ## How often do you take them? Are you taking them exactly as prescribed? I suffer from chronic pain and have a history of abusing the perscribed medicines likke percocet and bought Oxys off the street cuz the perks werent enough sometimes. JUst 2 questions. can i crush a percacet in urine to get a positive test for opiate reading? ## Most drug tests look for the actual metabolites of the medication and these metabolites are only produced by its being processed through the body. In addition, if the test is looking for the levels of it, because you have been prescribed and are expected to be taking it at certain dosing intervals, then the levels will be incorrect and can alert them to a problem. Seven weeks ago I had spine surgery, having to have fusions with metal screw, rods and a cage. I first had a urine leakage for about 3 weeks. Now I have a horrible smell in my urine, my bladder doesn't seem to be emptying completely. I did not have this problem prior to surgery..my surgeon said I needed to see a urologist, which I have. he is wanting to admit me to hospital for examinations on my bladder and kidneys. Hello All! To give comment about the original question(How long does xanax stay in urine) I would like to give a personal experience. I took 1 mg of xanax on 3/12/11 and 1mg on 3/13/11. I dont use xanax a lot and prior to taking the pills I was last year. I had a urine drug test on 3/25/11. Approximately 12 days. REsults came to day and it was negative.Yay!!! My drug screening was from Quest Diagnostics and its pretty detailed because it was ordered from the Proffesional Board of Illinois ( Registered Nurse.) Hope this helps someone. I have my urine test in the morning (28th), I have bn a heroin addict for 12yrs but started over the oast yr or two with the help of a meth script get cleaner for more n more days at a time. I used on tue morning (smoked) I have had the 5 or 6 days clean b4 but most stil show up dirty so do think passive smoking as to be further investigated. I however drank more than a litre cranberry juice every day, water n juice inbetween n had a wee drink at wkend too. Dvla medical test ha ha ha!! not so funny at all!! Ive been trying to get my driving liceance back for over a year now but with no joy. ok i failed a few urine tests for cannibis which i admit is my own fault. this time though i stoped everything for a few months only for the dvla med group to say that my urine sample was too diluted!? argh!! argh!! they now want me to do another urine test. im annoyed.
