Should THYROX 25 be taken if a patient has T3-120.70, T4-9.0 and TSH 7.14? PLS SUGGEST ME WHAT TO DO. THANKS. ## What has your doctor advised? They are the person that is best qualified to answer your questions and help you decide if the medication would be beneficial for you to use. ## I have shown the reports to many doctors. Some have advised to take the medicine but some are strictly saying not to take the medicine. ## Can anyone advise me of a company which manufactures Thyrox 25 or Thyrox 50? I am based in the UK. ## If a doctor you trust is saying to take it, then maybe allow them to write you a prescription. Then while taking it monitor how you feel and follow up with them often so that they can have you stop if need be. Be proactive about your health.

Sir I want to know is it to be continued for many yers or may be discontinued. Thanks ## sarafeen, what has your doctor advised? Levothyroxine is a naturally occurring hormone in the body, so in these doses that usually just replace what your body is missing, it hasn't been known to cause harm to the baby. And Ram, it's really going to depend on how you respond to the current dosage of the medication. Have you talked to your doctor about it?...

Am being suffering from Hypothyroid and consuming T-25 tablet for the past 2 months but i don't find any changes personally added i found some strange feeling in my neck ## Not everyone experiences side effects from any given medication, some people don't experience any, at all, so that doesn't necessarily mean that there is a problem. Levothyroxine can cause weight changes and hair loss, which usually upsets some people that have to take it, so if you aren't having this problems, that is very fortunate. Has your doctor done blood tests to check your levels? Have they improved?

i have brought some thyroxine off the internet, they came from india, and they are like a funny shape and they have 25 printed on them, they are pure white.. how do i know if these are genuine pills? and do they make you lose weight? ## From a foreign source and with just that vague imprint, there is really no way to know for sure what you received. It could be anything. This is one of the hazards of ordering from foreign pharmacies that are not regulated by the U.S. FDA. In addition, Thyroxine is not considered safe to be used as a weight loss drug, it is actually only approved and intended to treat Thyroid conditions and since those levels have to be carefully monitored, the blood levels of your Thyroid hormones have to be checked on a regular basis. Have you tried speaking to your do...

I have been taking 25mcg of levothyroxine for about a year and a half when I had to switch to escripts. I received my prescription in the mail and the tablets were now oval and scored and manufactured by SANDOZ. Two weeks into this new script and I started having odd sensations in my chest and my hands would be stone cold. At work I hooked myself up to telemetry and saw that I was throwing PVCs three at a time. Heart rate was 69 and no other issues except a weird feeling I cannot describe accurately. It was the third time that happened while on the new script. I printed out a strip to take to my Dr and had an EKG done with no problems noted (of course I wasn't experiencing any symptoms at the time of the EKG). Anything like this happen to anyone here? ## Hello, Kini! How are you? Yo...

However, your body can react differently to differenct medications, so while on one medication you may not experience a lot of side effects, but a switch to a new drug, even in the same class, might result in more severe side effects. Is you continue to experience problems, you should probably consult your doctor, this may not be the right medication for you. I was told this is Armour. Looks like its totally not. I ordered it from India but it says thyroxine sodium tablets. Paid 140 bucks for it to. Which from what I'm reading its totally not Armour. Correct? ## You are correct. Armour actually contains desiccated thyroid gland from pigs. You can learn more Armour details here. Unfortunately, that's one of the hazards from ordering in such a manner, there's really no way of knowing what you may receive. Have you tried contacting the place you ordered from?
