Doc has recommended me Thyr 25 mcg. My TSH has been fluctuating from 26 to 13 to now 5 without medication. I have no symptoms though. I want to know abt possible side effects. Since last 1 year I am taking Thyronorm 50mcg when my TSH was 15.6. Presently since last 6 month or so the TSH level is 2 to 3 . I take TSH & FT4 test regularly. Now a days I have feeling of upset stomach, gastritis, constipation. Should I reduce the doses to 25mcg. or stop taking medicine ## TSH 2-3 is fine. Hello, My wife had a tsh level of 7.2 in first 3 weeks of pregnancy than we started thyronorm 25 mcg we continued it and in 10 week pregnancy tsh came out to be low as 1.2 than i continued the same medicine but last 3 days back i got her tsh as 8.2 so now should i increase the dose of thyronorm to 25 mcg to 50 mcg or 100 mcg please suggest. Does a person on 25 MCG of Thyronorm often experience the side affects of weight gain and hair loss from this drug? Or...is that fairly rare? I have thin hair and weight gain already...due to my slugglish thyroid problem. Hi i Have Hypo Thyroid, since from 1 year am keep on gaining my weight.. every time i consult the Dr. he increase the dosage of it from 25 mcg to 100 mcg and Sat & Sun he made 200 mcg. Some one said me if i take high dose i will reduce my weight, so am taking 200mcg everyday. I also have huge pain and swelling in my both foots. Even i take pain killer if it unbearable since frm 4 years. Based on recent report on thyroid test... Thyroid increases from 14 to 23 ... And doctor increases the dosage from 25 mcg to 75 mcg. It's been 2 -3 days since i m taking the increased dosage. I'm working in a school too and due to which it i had too go through a lot of hard work. Now after the increment in dosage i m feeling very low. At morning 10 -11 of the day i am feeling like o have no energy in me.. I sleeping for atleast 5-6 hours...And between such hours I too wake up for 3 -4 times at night. My age is 25 years old.and i have a child which age is 2year i have been taking thoronmon 50 mg during since pregnancy and before pregnancy my weight was 50 kg.but today my weight is only 35 kg and also reduce my breast size very speedly.
