pantoprazole 40mg nor sure whether it is working
4 Replies RSS
I have been prescribed pantoprazole 40mg to take one hour before my evening meal. The pill is small, yellow in colour with no markings. It is manufactured by Teva UK. I have been taking this medication for 16 days now and I'm not sure whether it is working. The reflux, gas and nausea have mostly gone, yet I still feel a dull pressing pain in in my upper stomach area. It is not as frequent as before, but it is still present. Is this normal? Everything I read online says I should be cured by now but I know we are all different and my doctor has prescribed the pills for 8 weeks in total. Does it sometimes take a bit longer for the pain to leave or should I request a change to my prescription? thank you. ## I'm not sure what your read, but 16 days is kind of soon to expect it to wor... ...

What is this pill? 8164 on one side & 93 on the other ## Hi Dee, The oblong-shaped pill marked "93 8164", is identified as Quetiapine fumarate (300mgs) Manufacturer: Teva Pharmaceuticals USA Inc. NOTE: the color of this pill is listed as being yellow, as opposed to peach. However it's quite possible that the manufacturer could've changed the look of their pill. This medication is an atypical antipsychotic approved for the treatment of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and as an add-on to treat depression. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Quetiapine Details I hope this helps! ...

I need to know the manufacturer's name, and would also like to know the inert ingredients, especially color agents. I'm allergic to yellow dye #5. ## Hello, The manufacturer for this pill is Teva Pharmaceuticals USA. Being that this pill is orange I'm led to assume it has some sort of dye in it, but I cannot determine if yellow #5 has been used. Below is the manufacturers website. There's a contact link on the page that should allow you to email or call the customer service center to inquire about such details: Please post back if you have any other questions or comments to add. ...

my Losartan hctz tab 100/25 ap are yellow oval, i just want to make sure they are the right pills ## I can't really provide you with a definitive answer, without knowing the markings on the tablets, since that is what enables us to identify them for you. However, there are several oval, yellow tablets on the market that contain this dosage of Losartan and Hydrochlorthiazide. Some of the markings are: 93 7368 (The 93 may have been changed to the word TEVA) APO 100 25 M43 LU E 49 and there are several others. Do any of these match the tablets in question? ## I take Losartan/hctz yellow oval tabs number on it is 1118 Pharmex 2009 copyright These do not cause me to cough I am trying to find a pharmacy in Surprise, AZ that carries these. ## Carol, I'm sorry, but we have no way of kno... ...

Do klonopins have these markings?
2 Replies RSS
I was wondering If you have seen klonopin's have a v on one side and the word Teva on the other.? ## To my knowledge none of the klonopin tablets have such markings. Generic klonopin (clonazepam) is the closest match I could find that has a "Teva" imprint on it. A round yellow pill marked TEVA 832 is identified as Clonazepam 0.5 mg. Manufacturer: Teva Pharmaceuticals USA National Drug Code (NDC): 00093-0832 Is there any way that you can provide a more detailed description of your pill reference (i.e. shape, color, any other imprints, size, etc)? ## I've seen klonopins with the v on 1 side and numbers on the other. looking for bupropion that is an immediate release pill prefferally white ## From what I've seen, there aren't any generic bupropion tablets that are both white and immediate-release. There are however, other brands of bupropion, such as Aplenzin, which are not extended-release and happen to be white as well. These particular pills are manufactured by Sanofi-Aventis. Teva Pharmaceuticals USA and Sandoz Pharma also make generic, immediate-release bupropion, but the pills are yellow, pink, and purple, as opposed to white. Are there any specific reasons why you prefer a white tablet? ## chemicaly sensitive to atifical colors, but these colors can be wash off slowly without destroying the integrety of pill (looking for white IR Bupropion ...

I have been taking the 100/25 pale yellow tablet mfg by TEVA. My pharmacist claims they cannot get the tablet due to formulation problems at the mfg. I have been taking a green tablet 100mg Losartan along with a separate HCTZ tablet mag by IVAX. I have broken out in hives and itching. This is not the same formulation I was taking before. Going back to the Dr tomorrow. Has there been a report about this before? ## It certainly sounds like you may be allergic to something in one of the tablets. And yes, unfortunately, there has been a shortage. It was reported by all manufacturers a few months ago and was supposed to be resolved in a short period of time, but this obviously has not happened. They've also not provided any explanation for the shortage. It would probably be best to talk ... ...

round orange pill nothing on other side ## Hello, I believe I have identified your pill as Mirtazapine (15 mg); which is used in the treatment of major depressive disorder and other mood disorders and more. Side effects can include (but are not limited to): Dizziness, blurred vision, sedation, somnolence, malaise, increased appetite, weight gain (as a result of increased appetite), dry mouth, constipation, and joint and muscle pain. The pill I found is almost an exact match to the one you've described. It is a round yellow pill (but appears to be orange) with 9 3 (divided by a score line) on one side, and 7206 on the other side. Hi I take fluoxetine and the capsule has always been green and yellow today I picked up my new scrips and there plain green ive googled this and every website says yellow and green even the manufacturers teva uk ltd are these the same ## Are there any markings on it? That is what would enable use to check. However, I'd recommend double checking the dosage to make sure you received the correct dose. Here, in the U.S., the 20mg capsules are green and yellow and the 10mg ones are just green. I have a bottle of each here, because I take 20mgs in the morning and 10mgs at night for perimenopause symptoms. The FDA classifies this medication as an SSRI antidepressant and its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and weight loss. ...

I just found out that Actavis was bought out by Watson! Fist they were PurePac then Actavis (yellow bars) and they were the a 10 on a scale of 1-10. All benzos as most of you probably know that are made by Watson are terrible. My pharmacy special orders Actavis Clonazepam for me and I asked for them to do the same but they called me back and said her computer said Actavis but she was sent Watson. Its also all over the net. I wonder if this means out beloved and most potent clonazepam and alprazolam will be Watson when they run out. Ivax was bought by Teva and now the script bottle says Ivax but the pills say Teva. The bottle and pill used to say Ivax and the Ivax were faster and longer acting and much stronger. This is not good news for people who know the truth about generics... ## I m... ...

I also feel like stopping the medication immediately because i feel like its all a scam ## Hi, Silvia! I think you're misunderstanding information regarding the manufacturing of medications.
