The CVS pharmacy I have been filling my prescription at told me that Teva will no longer manufacture Lamotrigine (pill imprint: 93 463). Is this correct? I've tried other mfgs and I still had seizures and I immediately knew I should buy Teva. I have less than 10 pills left now. ## CVS lies a lot. Just filled at Walgreens with teva brand..CVS told me they cold not get .5mg clonazapam anymore also.. I switched all to Walgreens... ## after doing extensive research I found out Teva and Mylan will no longer manufacturer Lamotrigine. I have not tolerated the other generic brands. I'm trying to find a brand that work for me as well since my insurance refuses to give me name brand. My pharmacy refilled my Teva Metoprolol Tartrate 50 mg with Metoprolol manufactured by Aurobindo. I've taken Teva Met Tart for 4 years with great results and no side effects. After taking 50mg Aurobindo Metoprolol Tart, the side effects were immediate. The Aurobindo Metoprolol 50 mg tab did not bring down my BP and it kept climbing. In the meantime my lips and upper face went numb, heart beat felt erratic, cold, shortness of breath, burning sternum, shakiness, nausea and headache. . . etc. No, this wasn't a heart attack. I'm looking for a replacement for the Teva as I understand they merged with Watson. Does anyone have any information on if Teva/Watson is producing Metoprolol Tartrate 50mg tablets under another Mfg. name. ## Just looked this up. I've been having issues ...

Shire US discontinued the mfg of DextroStat, at the end of the year 2007. Another bought out the license to produce DextroStat, but, it was also discontinued by Phys Total Care at the end of 2008, only available in 2008 in 5 mg, as the 10 mg was discontinued. I believe the license/patent, had expired, as well, as "Dextrostat" was a patented license by Richwood Pharmaceuticals of Kentucky beginning in the year 1994, and, ShireUS bought the patent rights, and, merged Richwood into ShireUS, with headquarters, in, Wayne PA 19087 soon after 9/11/2001. As we all know who are very used to Orange Book FDA ratings, the rare AA rated Dexedrine by Glaxo Smith Kline in 5mg I/R doses, and, DextroStat, was also AA rated by Orange Book out of 17 categories, but, both vanished from the shelves,...

Pharmacy changed Losartan mfg on my prescription from Pack to Teva. Have been on it 3 weeks and my blood pressure is not being regulated. My blood work is all excellent - just had it done one month ago. Only thing different is the change in mfg. I know FDA requires same - but, it does not seem to be working. Anyone else having the same problem? ## Hello, ram162! How are you? Unfortunately no, they do not require generics to be the same. Under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, generics are allowed to differ from the name brand, in the amount of the active ingredient, by as much as plus or minus 20%, additionally they only have to prove that the ingredient is biologically equivalent and works in the body in the same way. And they do not have to measure against other generics, only against the...

My child has celiac disease does d-amphetamine salt com xr 30 mg mfg teva fillers have gluten ## Hello, Lala123! How are you? Can you please post back with the markings that are on the tablet in question? It will make it much easier for me to look up the inactive ingredients for you. Without the markings, I can't find the specific one you want information on, since it may not actually be manufactured by Teva, they could just be a distributor for another company. Thanks! I have been taking the 100/25 pale yellow tablet mfg by TEVA. My pharmacist claims they cannot get the tablet due to formulation problems at the mfg. I have been taking a green tablet 100mg Losartan along with a separate HCTZ tablet made by IVAX. I have broken out in hives and itching. This is not the same formulation I was taking before. Going back to the Dr tomorrow. Has there been a report about this before? ## It certainly sounds like you may be allergic to something in one of the tablets. And yes, unfortunately, there has been a shortage. It was reported by all manufacturers a few months ago and was supposed to be resolved in a short period of time, but this obviously has not happened. They've also not provided any explanation for the shortage. It would probably be best to talk...

I have been taking TEVA clonazepam .5 for years and it was very effective! Now I hear that TEVA does not make it anymore. I was prescribed it via ACCORD mfg with very poor results... headaches, nervous, and more. I hear that the are also SOLCO and AVTIVIS mfg. I need some input re which one would be better... or any others. I heard that the inactive ingredients have a lot to do with it. I also know ACCORD is made in China and have heard some horror stories about their clonozepam. ANY INPUT GREATLY APPRECIATED!! ## Hi Johnny, You're spot on about the inactive ingredients having a lot to do with the medication efficacy. In Canada the drug labels actually refer to them as "non-medicinal ingredients" instead of stating "inactive", and I think this is because they do affe...

I have been informed by my pharmacy that their manufacturer has discontinued the white pill and have gone solely with the blue pill. (Teva Mfg. I believe). I have an allergy to dyes in pills and can only take white. Walgreens (my pharmacy) directed me to try CVS or Walmart, but neither one has white. I like verapamil tablets and would prefer not to change. Any ideas? ## Hello, Jan! How are you? Unfortunately, I'm not finding any others in that dosage of the ER that are white. Do you have any large hospitals or a compounding pharmacy near you? They may be able to create it for you in clear capsules, to avoid the dye problem. Does anyone else have any suggestions?

I take Metformin and recently the doctor prescribed in 500 mg doses. I now have pills with 93 on one side made by TEVA and I have a 1000 mg tab with 93 on one side and 72 14 on the other - who is the mfg of the 1000 mg tablet. I am not having the same results with the 500 mg that i had with the 1000 mg and it is believed the mfg may be the difference. ## Sorry that is one I do not take, I do know mfg. makes aHUGE dif. in how it works, metabolises in organs, I seen this and just had a similar prob. with thyroid meds. Ask dr. change back, may be your body with that brand, fix it,be glad you noticed.:) ## Actually, both of the tablets you have are manufactured by TEVA, the 93 is their former logo and TEVA is their new one, they have been gradually changing the logos on all their medications...

I use to take Cardizem cd 180mg. I have lots of trouble with generics. I was switched to Diltiazem hcl sa caps some time ago (mfg TEVA) and have been doing fine. When picking up my scrips today, I was given Cardia XT (mfg Watson Labs) will I notice any difference? Are the fillers similar? ## Hello, Jackie! How are you? There are quite a few differences in the inactive ingredients, so if you're sensitive to them, you may experience some issues, but the only way to find out is to actually try it and see. What types of problems do you usually have with generics? The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination and hypotension. ## Nausea, coughing, feel like coming down with flu, some brain fog. Hello, Is Amox-clav (mfg LEK 400mg/susp 100 mg) gluten free? Thank you. ## Hi Karen, Do you happen to know who the manufacturer of your pill is? If you do, I may be able to contact them directly on your behalf, regarding this question. Alternatively, If you know the what the imprint is on the pill itself, I could also look it up under the prescription drug databases and possibly locate the manufacturer that way. I also located a webpage that contains a list of gluten free drugs (along with the manufacturer's name): NOTE: on this list, Amox/Clavulanic Acid (manufactured by: Prasco or Sandoz) is gluten free. I hope this helps! ## Is amox clav manufactured bu teva Canada limited gluten free?

These are horrible, Accord Clonazepam. I'll be glad when I get my new script and can go back to TEVA. ## There have been a lot of recent complaints on our site about medications manufactured by Accord. Sorry you also had a bad experience. Since pharmacies buy in bulk, it is highly likely that they'll still have the ones manufactured by Accord in stock, when you order a refill. So, you might want to make sure to tell them ahead of time that you don't want them and prefer the ones made by Teva. Are there any comments or questions? ## So I got my script filled before I left town and I always check my bottle for my good ole MFG and NDC#. Both were intact but the surprise was on the inside. I think most people who take lorazepam are familiar with side effects like any other script, however we also know what works and what doesn't. And I for one am tired of hearing the same explanation that you build up a tolerance. I only have encountered that problem when different mfg merge or deviated from what the formula calls for. ## Agreed. Been on Lorazepam long term and have never seen more mfgr chances in the last 6-8 months, between Actavis/Teva, Leading & Aurobindo, just as my body adjusts, there’s a change. My dosage has always stayed the same. ## Hello, Margaret, and Leebs! How are you both doing?
