Do you have any other questions or information to add? Terramicina Pomada
can this be used for cold sores ## The antibiotics in it, the Polymyxin B and the Oxytetracycline aren't really going to help, if that's what you're looking for, because cold sores are caused by a virus, not a bacterial infection. Learn more Oxytetracycline details here. Learn more Polymyxin B details here. The Lidocaine may help with some pain, if it's sore, but that and keeping it moisturized is really all this ointment is going to do. Learn more Lidocaine details here. How often do they erupt? ...

terramicina stye
How long does terramicina take effect on a stye??? ## Hi mike, From what I've read, this medication can be used for eye infections. However, I do believe there is a separate US brand of Terramycin "eye ointment" that is specifically geared towards these types of infections. As to how long it works, Terramycin has an estimated half life of 6 to 8 hours; after which, it's effects can begin to dwindle. There are also a couple of other alternative treatment options for stye's that are thought to work just as well or better. One simple approach that is suggested, is to take a clean wash cloth and soak it in vinegar or water as hot as you can stand. Then press the wash cloth against the stye, holding it there until it cools. Some people recommend doing this several times d... ...

Terramicina 500 Mg
Is this medicactio for ear infection or not ## Hi alicia, Oxytetracycline hydrochloride is reported to be an active ingredient in Terramicina Oftalmica. Oxytetracycline is used to treat infections of the respiratory and urinary tracts, skin, EAR, eye and Gonorrhoea; although the use of Tetracyclines for such purposes has declined in recent years due to large increases in bacterial resistance to this class of drugs. The drug is particularly useful when Penicillins and/or Macrolides cannot be used due to allergy. More information about this drug can be viewed in the link below: Do you have any other questions or concerns about this medication? Please post back if you do... ...

I have terramycin ointment at hand, but it has expired since Nov. 2010. I cannot get to a drug store now. Can I use it ???? ## It isn't advisable to use any medication in or on the eye that hasn't been specially formulated for such use. The eye requires sterile substances, as it is very sensitive and easily susceptible to infection and/or damage. Products made for the eye can be used elsewhere, but products made to be used elsewhere should not be used for the eye. Learn more Oxytetracycline details here. can I use Terramicina 125mg to treat throat infection? and if can how often can I take each pill, I will really appreciate if someone respond ## Hello, Ray! How are you? This is an antibiotic, so it can treat various types of infections, however, since it's unavailable in the U.S., I haven't been able to find the dosing information. Additionally, you need to have the presence of an infection confirmed, because taking it if you don't have one creates the risk of your developing antibiotic resistant bacteria. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with? ...
