i have a 9 year old daughter she take tenex1mg she has autism how doe it work with her ; what do i ask the doctor fro to help her control her temper;;the doctor put her on trodrone and clonidine ## How did it work out for her? TENEX was prescribed to my 14 year old. 1mg to be taken before bedtime to work with help of sleeping. She also takes 54 mg of Concerta in the morning. She has ADD, however Tenex is not working to help her sleep (but she's only been on for 2 nights). ## Hello, Sheila! How are you and your daughter? Hello everyone. I woulld like to start off by listing the medications I am on. I am on Dexedrine 3 times a day, Nuerontin 3 times a day, tenex twice a day (morning and evening), Trazadone at bedtime and Diphenyhydramine (Benadryl) at bedtime. I've noticed since I've been on these medications, my appreciation for music has gone down ]:. and while it may not seem like a big deal to some people, to me music has always been my everything, and now I find it really hard to enjoy it when I listen to it /:. My son has just been perscribed prozac for his anxiety and aggression due to his lack of interpersonal skills, caused by Aspegers Syndrome. he was on concerta and tenex, they are no longer effective. Any idea if this will be an effective route for him? He cant function in school without something because of his disorder. My son had SEVERE ADHD to the point of hitting teachers when he was 4 in preschool, so he was tried on many meds and finally placed him on 36 mg of Concerta and 1mg of Tenex for any left over aggression. When he was in 1st grade the Concerta was moved up to 54mg. Now he is almost 12 and he says he doesn't feel "normal" when he takes them (sometimes we skip weekends). Someone thought this was ritalin but with looking through web sites, I don't see any that fit that, I don't know what it is but it is a small white, round pill with just an A and a 1 underneath it, all on one side with nothing on the other. My 8 yr old son has just been prescribed Daytrana Patch. We havent picked it up yet. He was on Focalin and it wasnt good. He was then just kept on intuiv. He almost got hit by the school bus today. so his neurologist prescribed him this patch. Im alittle worried of these new medicines out and just feel for 10 months he has been a guinney pig.
