Currently, Telmisartan 40 is marketed in india by several companies. As advised by doctor, I have been taking taking telsartan 40 tablets (1 tab./day) since 4 years. Recently, while purchasing medicines at the pharmacy, I came to know about another product called telsartan 40 aciv. Both compositions appear to be same. Cost of 30 'Telsartan 40' tablets (3 strips of 10 each) is roughly about Rs. 345, whereas the cost of a bottle containing 30 'Telsartan 40 Activ' tablets is Rs. 90 only. Both are the products of Dr. Reddy's Laboratory. I would like to know if both are same and should I buy Telsartan 40 activ bottle instead of Telsartan 40 tablets, since the later is seems to be cost effective. ## i am surprised to see no response at all to this query. please....can some...
