please advise details on this Tablet thanks ## Dr. gave me today prescription of Telsar 20 mg. He told to me that my BP is High. I want to know more about it. ## I believe this is Telmisartan, which is used to help control high blood pressure. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, headache and dizziness. You can read more on it here: Do you have any other questions? ## i am regulerly using telista 20mg, but instead of telista 20 i received telsa 20mg, both of them are same medicine, or any different is there?... can i take the medicine instead of telista 20. ## Are tablets Telsar 20 and Telusta 20 the same.

I have been taking Telsartan H 80 for almost 2009. I was also taking simvastatin 20 mg but due to irregularity in taking Simvastatin tablet my colesterol was high and also there was another reason, I had experienced severe pain in my right hand muscle and on the upper back due to accumulation of spasm. My doctor, when came to know about this he changed the medicine to Cretsor 20mg. Now I am taking Telsartan H 80 and Crestor 20. My recent blood test has come out with outstanding result my lipid profile is under very much under control. I am 58 years of age. Just 10 days back I started Thelma H 40 mg for BP 160/90 as advised by my doctor. After using it for 8 days I got dizziness, frequent urination and a light strain on my right side. So I consulted my doctor and am now taking Telsartan 40. My BP is now 120/80. How long should I use 40 mgs for? Can I reduce to 20 mgs? Please advise. My husband, 56yr old, is diabetic for around 16 yrs. He has been on insulin for 4yrs. From April this yr dr has given 31 units rhyzodeg per day. His bp normally is 150 -160/90 although he has been taking bp medicines ever since his sugar was detected. He was taking cardace 10 twice daily, rosulip 10mg, janumet xr(cp), cilacar 20. In august his 24 hrs urinary protein excretion rpt revealed 5.69gm/day. So dr has given him telsar 80 in place of it. Is there anything to worry about kidney wise? My wife is taking glycomet 1gm for the last 3 yrs n teniva 20 since last 6 months for treatment of diabetes. Besides she is also taking Telsartan 20, Ciladuo 5mg, Rozavel 5mg and Neurobion forte _ all one tab each per day. What are the side effects of these medicines in the long run? I am 38 yrs old. I use Telsar 20 & Mactor F. Walls of My Urinary Bladder are trabeculated. Though My Prostate is normal in shape & ecopattern is also nomal. Urine R/E report tells me that my Albumin is F traced & Occult blood is traced too. What medicine do you suggest me? Or may I take glevo 500 & urinac 0.4 mg?

I had severe burning sensation on top of the head since mid November 2015. On 21/11/2015, my physician asked me to take Telsartan 40mg every morning as my BP was 178//100. Even after taking the tablets for one month, the burning in the head continued and on 23/12/2015, I visited a neuro physician who advised a CT scan of the head. The scan was normal but my BP was 180/114 and hence I was asked to meet the physician to bring down the BP immediately. The physician has prescribed Telma 40mg and Amlong, both to be taken twice a day. I am taking both these tablets twice a day since 23/12/2015. I checked the BP onn 4/1/2016 and 10/1/2016 and both times it was 120/80. However: 1. Hi, I am 35.2 yr male & suffering from kidney diesease(creatine level 1.6,urea 33) due to that got high BP since yr sep-2007.Till then I am continue on medications. I was well in control with medicines Lasix 40Mg(1-0-0) ,Telsartan R5(1-0-1), Metstamlo 50/5(1-0-1) from sep2007 to june2010.Later, in yr 2012, Telsartan R5 replaced with Telma R5 and metstamlo stopped and instead Febuget 40 started for uric acid control. In june 2013 during routine check up got potassium level high (>6), then doc advised to stop Telma R5 as well. Now with 2nd doc (nephrology) option I am taking Stamlo Beta(1-0-1), moxovas(0-1-0), Febuget 40(0-0-1),Acigerd DSR(1-0-1),Ketostril(2-2-2). I am 65 years old and hypertensive for last 30/35 years. I am under medication for long and presently taking Listril-SM tab and Stamlo 5, one each in the morning and Tenoric 50 one tablet at night. Recently one Cardiologist advised me to take one tab. Telma-AM-H 80 in the morning replacing the other medicines and also to replace Colsprin 100 with Ecosprin Gold 20. The problem is I tried Telma 40 and subsequently Telma-H a couple of years ago as per advise of a Cardilogist but it failed to maintain my blood pressure. On the contrary it shoots upto 190/100. The pressure becomes 140/80 after switching back to Listril-SM with addition of Stamlo 5. While Lisonopril seems to be suiting me why Cardilogists insisting on Telsartan ?
